Kulgam, Nov 22: According to police, a scrapyard in the Qazigund neighbourhood of Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, caught fire on Wednesday. Following notification, firefighters arrived at the scene to put out the fire with assistance from JK Police and bystanders. They claimed that the incident caused damage to properties valued at lakhs of rupees. According to officials, the fire was put out with the assistance of the police, firefighters, and locals. There were no confirmed casualties in the incident. They said that the precise cause of the fire is still unknown. (Agencies)
