Elon Musk Says Twitter To Change Logo, Adieu To ‘All The Birds’

23/07/2023 : Elon Musk said he was looking to change Twitter’s logo, tweeting: “And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds. And shortly after that, we will say goodbye to the twitter brand and eventually all the birds.
In a tweet sent out at 12:06 a.m. ET (04:06 GMT) on Sunday, the social networking site’s billionaire founder added: “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make go live worldwide tomorrow.”
Mr. Musk shared a picture of a flashing “X” but provided no more information. An inquiry for comments was not immediately answered by the business. The company changed its name to X Corp under Mr. Musk’s turbulent leadership after he acquired Twitter in October, symbolising the billionaire’s ambition to develop a “super app” like China’s WeChat.
The blue bird in Twitter’s logo is allegedly “our most recognisable asset,” which is why the company is “so protective of it,” according to the company’s website.
The Shiba Inu dog of Dogecoin momentarily took the bird’s position in April, which helped raise the joke coin’s market value by as much as $4 billion. The most recent issue for Twitter was a lawsuit that was filed on Tuesday, according to which the company owes former employees at least $500 million in severance pay.
Since Mr. Musk purchased the business, it has fired more than half of its employees in an effort to reduce costs.
