SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Wednesday reiterated that elements involved in disturbing peace, and law & order in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir will be taken to task sternly. Addressing a Tourism Development Conclave-2024 at SKICC in Srinagar, Lieutenant Governor said that J&K government has held a principle of “be-gunah to chedho mat, gunahgar ko chodho mat” (do not touch innocents, and don’t spare guilty unpunished). He stated such kind of principle will remain in place and no power on earth can undo this. “Elements who will be found involved in disturbing peace, and law & order of Jammu and Kashmir won’t be spared unpunished. They will be dealt strictly under the law,” Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said. He said tourists who visit Jammu and Kashmir and return to their respective destinations are our brand ambassadors. He also said that Tatto Ground in Srinagar will be developed at par and every endeavour will be utilized to make his destination more prominent and popular.
