PATNA, Jan 19: According to official sources on Friday, the ED has summoned RJD chairman Lalu Prasad, his son, and Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav to appear for questioning at its Patna office regarding the alleged money laundering case involving railroads land-for-jobs. Tejashwi was called on January 30, the day after Prasad was requested to give his deposition on January 29. The summons was delivered by a delegation to Prasad’s wife, former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi, at her official residence in Patna, they added.The Enforcement Directorate office on Bank Road in the capital is where the two have been invited to appear for depositions. Both of them had ignored the previous summonses in this instance. The purported scandal concerns the time when Prasad served as the UPA-1 Government’s Minister of Railways.
