NEW DELHI: On Sunday, there was a 3.1-magnitude earthquake that was felt in the Delhi-NCR area. The earthquake’s centre was located 10 km beneath the surface, nine kilometres from Haryana’s Faridabad. This occurred a few days after an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 shook western Nepal, sending significant vibrations to regions of North India, including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. It was the most powerful of several quakes that rocked the nation one after another. A significant 6.3 magnitude earthquake also occurred in Afghanistan on Sunday, roughly 34 kilometres outside of Herat, the province capital. It took place a little more than a week after numerous powerful earthquakes and aftershocks decimated entire villages across the nation.
