CHHATTISGARH: According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, only until states, districts, and villages grow will the dream of a developed Bharat come true. He added that, compared to allocations made prior to 2014, the Centre has increased budgetary support for railway projects in Chhattisgarh by 20 times over the past nine years. Speaking at an event at Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, where he also lay the cornerstones for other projects totaling Rs 26,000 crore, including the NMDC steel mill, PM Modi gave a dedication speech to the nation.“Only when states, districts, and villages in the nation develop will the dream of a developed Bharat be realised,” he remarked. The prime minister claimed that the NMDC Steel Ltd. steel factory at Nagarnar in the state’s Bastar district would offer job possibilities to 50,000 young people from Bastar and surrounding areas. On this day, PM Modi effectively starts the DEMU train service between Tadoki (Kanker district) and Raipur.
