JAMMU: In a meeting with their representatives today, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, spoke about the problems facing West Pakistani refugees and displaced persons from 1947, 1965, and 1971. In front of the Divisional Commissioner, the representatives made a number of demands, including those related to the transfer of land, payment under the relief package, and other benefits. They requested a quick turnaround for filing requests under the relief package. During a patient hearing, the Div Com gave the representatives the assurance that all of their legitimate concerns would be taken into account for prompt resolution.
