MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has reportedly been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
In a statement issued by the family, they said, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”
Popularly known as the ‘He-Man of Bollywood’, Dharmendra has had a remarkable career spanning over six decades, featuring in more than 300 films. He is remembered for iconic performances in classics such as Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Phool Aur Patthar, Aaye Din Bahar Ke, Seeta Aur Geeta, Raja Jani, Jugnu, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Dost, Sholay, Pratiggya, Charas, and Dharam Veer.
In 2023, he appeared in Karan Johar’s hit film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film blended romance and comedy, focusing on a couple from contrasting cultural backgrounds who decide to live with each other’s families before marriage.
More recently, Dharmendra charmed audiences again in Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. His next film, Ikkis, is among the most awaited upcoming releases featuring the legendary actor.
