February 15: This is to inform the public that the DGP’s Public Grievances Redressal/Interaction programme is set to take place at the District Police Lines, Baramulla, on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 3 p.m. The Baramulla District inhabitants alone are eligible to participate in the grievance/interaction initiative. In order to take part in the campaign, anyone who have complaints about police services should go to the District Police Line (DPL) and register at the dedicated help desk. If someone wants to report something to the DGP J&K, they need to provide a written application with all the information they have, including a working mobile number.The DGP’s Public Grievance Redressal initiative is only intended to handle complaints against police services, it is emphasised once more. Please be advised that complaints regarding these particular areas will not be considered during the grievance redressal programme as it does not cover issues related to general transfers or the hiring of Special Police Officers (SPOs).
