JAMMU: In order to investigate public complaints, Jammu and Kashmir’s Director General of Police (DGP), RR Swain, hosted the inaugural “Public Darbaar” on Saturday. After investigating their complaints, the DGP gave officials the appropriate instructions. The freshly introduced grievance redressal programme was held today for the first time in Jammu after being held in Kashmir previously. Speaking, a local said, “This is the first time we have been able to attend such a forum and talk about our issues directly with the DGP.” DGP Swain has introduced the Grievance Redressal Programme in an effort to connect with the district’s common people and address their issues.
