SRINAGAR: Today at Raj Bhavan, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the District Development Council in Budgam, met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The DDC Chairman thanked the Lt Governor for the extensive development projects being carried out in the Budgam District. Former Pahalgam legislator Rafi Ahmad Mir met with the Lt. Governor and they spoke about a number of local development-related problems. The Lt. Governor was visited by a team led by Sh Zahoor Ahmad Rather, President, J&K Committee, Apple Farmers’ Federation of India, who discussed their pressing concerns.In a meeting with the Lt. Governor, a delegation of J&K National Awardee Teachers, led by Sh. Wali Mohammad Bhat, presented their concerns. Later, Dr. Farida Khan, the BDC Chairperson for Sopore, also met with the Lt Governor to discuss local concerns of public importance. The Lt Governor informed the delegation members and public representatives that all legitimate concerns and requests made during the sessions will be addressed in a timely manner.
