SRINAGAR : Representatives of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), the apex body of the Indian ICT exporters, called on LG Sinha at Raj Bhawan. The Lt Governor and the delegation under the leadership of Sandeep Narula discussed how to advance the ICT industry in J&K UT. They also gave the Lt. Governor a briefing on the steps ESC had made to create a strong startup culture and assist the development of government capability. The Lt. Governor was later briefed by Sheikh Muzaffar, President of the Jammu Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF), on a number of matters of public significance, including the promotion of Sufi studies and the development of Kulgam and Anantnag. He was accompanied by Dr. Ghulam Mohammed, an Islamic scholar and preacher, as well as Syed Abdul Lateef Bukhari, the Mirwaiz of Central Kashmir. The creator of the J&K Choir, Saurabh Zadoo, led a team from Harmonies Choir of J&K, which also visited the Lt Governor.
