UDHAMPUR, DECEMBER 15: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, chaired a meeting in the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex Udhampur here today to assess the physical and financial achievements made under the District Capex Budget 2023-2024.
This review encompassed the Area Development Plan (ADP), Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP), and Aspirational Panchayat Development Programme (APDP) in the district.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh; Chief Planning Officer Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rafiq Ahmed Jaral; Assistant Commissioner Development Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal; Block Development Officers and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
At the onset, ADDC Ghan Sham Singh provided an overview of the progress achieved on the projects initiated under the District Capex budget.
The DC conducted a comprehensive review of each project, urging the executing agencies to expedite remaining work to ensure timely completion. The Block Development Officers were instructed to ensure 100% expenditure booking by December 31, 2023. Additionally, the progress of works under ABDP and APDP was scrutinized, with the DC directing BDOs to accelerate the pace of work and adhere strictly to the stipulated timelines.
Emphasizing quality, the DC urged executing agencies to conduct regular site visits to ensure the standard of work remains uncompromised.
