RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 17: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Om Prakash Bhagat today presided over a significant meeting where 83 cases were approved under the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP).
The cases pertained to the Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry and Horticulture P&M Departments.
The meeting focused on evaluating the progress made in achieving the objectives of the program and generation of awareness among farmers about the innovative interventions under the HADP.
The HADP is an ambitious initiative aimed at establishing a sustainable and profitable agricultural ecosystem.
Deputy Commissioner Om Prakash Bhagat emphasized the goal of the program which is to empower local farmers by equipping them with knowledge and tools that can significantly enhance their productivity and profitability. Simultaneously, the HADP seeks to contribute to the overall growth of the agricultural sector.
With the approval of 83 cases, the HADP is progressing towards its objective of transforming the agricultural landscape in Rajouri.
Meanwhile, the DC also approved 12 cases under the Prime Minister’s Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme.
Among the others who attended the meeting were the ADDC, Pawan Kumar; ADC Rajouri, Rajeev Kumar Khajuria; ACR, Mohd Jahangir Khan; DSHO, PP Sagotra; CAHO, Dr Khalid Hussain; DHO, Shafqat Khan; LDM, Sanjeev Bhasin; Dy Registrar CS, Adnan Rather; AD Fisheries, Bodh Raj and other concerned officers.
