JAMMU : DC Jammu visited Railway Station, Vaishnavi Dham, Saraswati Dham and Panchayat Bhawan to inspect the arrangements for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2023.Rahul Yadav, Commissioner JMC, Mohan Lal Kainth, Faizal Qureshi, ADC (LO) Harvinder Singh, ADC (ADM) Sandeep Seointra, Nodal officers of the relevant registration counters, and other senior officers deployed for the successful conduct of SANJY 2023 were present with the Deputy Commissioner.The Yatri accommodations, security measures, technical equipment and wi-fi installations, public address system, power and water supply cleanliness, sanitation, and medical facilities at registration counters, Lodgement centres, and especially at Yatri Niwas were all carefully examined by the Deputy Commissioner. She also looked over the security measures and other arrangements, such as the token and registration services offered at the Panchayat Bhawan, Vaishnavi Dham, and Railway Station.The Deputy Commissioner also went over the RFID centre that will be installed in the building housing the tourist information centre adjacent to the railway station. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the involved departments to make all necessary preparations prior to the start of the Yatra. She further instructed the concerned officers to prepare their personnel and equipment to guarantee Yatris a comfortable trip and stay. She asked the relevant ministries to take action to prevent the pilgrims from going through any suffering as a result of a shortage of requirements.
