JAMMU: Today, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, the deputy commissioner for Jammu, examined the operations of Jan Aushadhi Kendras, which are the establishments that supply the general public with reasonably priced medications in various hospitals and health facilities throughout the district. The DC examined the operational Jan Aushadhi Kendras’ sales results and talked about the variables influencing them. He asked for reports on the kinds of medications, the quantity of prescriptions written, and other information, and he urged the officers to work together to increase the sales of medications through these channels.The DC directed the involved officers to find and fix the issues that prevent people from purchasing these medications and stated that the public and store owners alike must be encouraged to use these medications. Sachin Kumar requested assistance from the Sub Divisional Magistrates to assist the Block Medical Officers, who in turn were asked to keep an eye on these outlets’ progress, sales, and provide him with feedback. Additionally, the BMOs were instructed to make sure that there was an adequate supply of medications in these outlets and to place additional orders as needed. The DC also talked about a few matters pertaining to the purchase of medications.
