SRINAGAR : According to officials, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jawan killed himself by shooting himself with his service rifle close to the Jawhar tunnel in the Qazigund area of the Kulgam district in south Kashmir.
When the CRPF Jawan shot himself, he was on duty close to B-top in the Qazigund Jawhar Tunnel area. “The CRPF man passed away instantly.”
“The body was taken to the hospital for the required legal formalities and a postmortem. The reason for his drastic action was not immediately apparent.
