SRINAGAR: With Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recording the coldest night of the season at minus 5.3 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature across Kashmir fell even lower. Every station has reported a temperature below zero, and Qazigund, the entry point to Kashmir, has recorded a low of minus 3.2 degrees Celsius. Famous tourist destination Pahalgam recorded a minimum temperature of minus 5.3 degrees Celsius, while ski resort Gulmarg recorded a low of minus 5.5 degrees Celsius. The mercury dropped to minus 3.7 degrees Celsius in Kupwara and minus 2.1 degrees Celsius in Kokernag, respectively.
