SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting to review the situation arising out of the incessant rains lashing Jammu and Kashmir.
The CM directed the administration to intensify its ground response, ensure immediate clearance of waterlogged areas, safeguard essential services, carry out timely evacuations in critical zones, and provide prompt relief to affected people.
“Hon’ble Ministers @JavedRanaa and @satishsharmajnk briefed the Chief Minister on the ground situation in Jammu, while Hon’ble Minister @sakinaitoo and Advisor to the CM @nasirsogami shared updates from Kashmir,” said the CM’s office in a post on X.Appealing to the public, the Chief Minister urged people to strictly follow government advisories, avoid vulnerable spots, and prioritize safety.
