UDHAMPUR, MARCH 12: To assess the progress of different developmental projects and mega initiatives across different sectors, Chairperson DDC Udhampur, Lal Chand, undertook a comprehensive tour of the remote Block of Panchari in District Udhampur.
During the tour, the DDC Chairperson inaugurated a 2 Km road from Upper Meer to Draman, costing Rs 7.23 crore, under NABARD. The Executive agency is PWD, Division Udhampur.
The road, benefiting a population of 2000, was inaugurated in the presence of Jasvir Singh, DDC Councillor Panchari Moungri, AEE PWD Sub Division Panchari, and local residents.
Additionally, he visited the Health and Wellness Centre at Meer, inspected the ongoing developmental work of Govt Higher Secondary School Panchari, and reviewed the renovation work of the Agricultural building and Panchari Treasury building.
While inspecting the ongoing developmental projects, the DDC Chairperson emphasized expediting the pace of work and ensuring timely completion. He urged the executing agencies to mobilize resources and manpower effectively to meet the stipulated deadlines. The DDC Chairperson also directed concerned officers to adopt a mission mode approach for timely completion and to maximize tangible results on the ground.
