JAMMU: Former Minister Priya Sethi visited Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan to discuss the preservation of Jammu’s spiritual and cultural legacy. Former lawmaker and prominent BJP leader Devender Singh Rana also visited the Lt. Governor and briefed him on a number of matters of public significance. A delegation from the Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee, led by its president Gurdev Singh, presented the Lt Governor with a list of demands and asked for his help in resolving the pressing problems involving the 1947 POJK Displaced Persons. The delegation’s members received assurances from the Lt Governor that the central government would be made aware of their legitimate concerns and demands. Later, the Lt. Governor was briefed on the extension of SBI’s services and their commitment to actively aiding the socio-economic development of the UT of J&K by Vinod Jaiswal, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle.
