HYDERABAD: During the company’s silver jubilee festivities at Ramoji Film City here, a freak accident claimed the life of a private company CEO and seriously injured another official, according to police on Friday. The CEO of the company, Sanjay Shah, and a colleague entered an iron cage that was going to be lowered from a height during the festivities on Thursday night. They reported that when the iron chain supporting the cage snapped on one side, they both fell. After being taken to the hospital, they were informed that Shah had died while receiving treatment and that his colleague’s health was critical. The police also stated that a complaint had been made by another corporate official, leading them to file a case against the Film City event management authorities.
