Death Of Soldiers In Anantnag Encounter Will Be Avenged, Say Maha CM Shinde : LG
SRINAGAR, Sep 18: Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, and Manoj Sinha, the lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir, declared on Sunday that the terrorists would receive a suitable punishment and that the deaths of Army and Police officers in the recent encounter in Anantnag would be avenged. "It is a tragic situation. Whether they are in the Army or the Police, our jawans risk their life to defend our borders. We are able to enjoy our festivals in this way and continue living our lives. This incident is condemned by every citizen of the nation, as am I. The terrorists would receive a suitable response, and PM Narendra Modi will be held accountable for every drop of blood, Shinde told reporters after attending an event here. The terrorists murdered a soldier on Wednesday along with Colonel Manpreet Singh, Commanding Officer, 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Major Ashish Dhonchak, Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat, and Major Ashish Dhonchak. The LG warned the audience during his speech that the terrorists' managers would pay a high price and that every drop of the martyrs' blood would be avenged. "We have total faith in the bravery of our warriors, and I want to reassure you that we will seek vengeance for every drop of blood shed. Terrorist handlers will be forced to pay a high price. The entire nation is united in support of the soldiers, according to Sinha.According to him, resentment among terrorists over the smooth operation of the G20 Summit and the crackdown on conflict profiteers in Jammu and Kashmir led to the attack on security forces in Anantnag. The terrorists who recently attacked the Army and police personnel at Pakistan's behest were irritated with the G20 Summit's successful administration and the clampdown on conflict profiteers. For the sake of preserving the nation's unity and integrity, our jawans offered the ultimate sacrifice. I submit to their offering," he stated. The ecology that has stifled the average man in Jammu and Kashmir, according to Sinha, must be destroyed. To celebrate Prime Minister Modi's 73rd birthday, the NGO Sarhad Pune held a ceremony to honour 73 people who helped the public during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Amarnath Yatra. "On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi's birthday, Sarhad Pune honours those who risked their life to save others' during COVID-19 and the Amarnath Yatra. The friendship between Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir has also begun a new chapter as a result," Shinde added.
