Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya will be start of ‘Ram Rajya’ in country : Yogi

SUKMA: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath declared on Sunday that the building of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will mark the start of "Ram Rajya," a nation free from caste and religious prejudice. He added that during his nine and a half years in office at the Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had established the groundwork for "Ram Rajya," a term generally used from ancient times to denote the highest level of benevolent governance, through programmes relating to health insurance, tap water, toilets, and housing for the impoverished. Speaking at a rally in Konta, Chhattisgarh, which is set to hold elections, he also charged that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's ruling Congress was supporting "love jihad" and religious conversions. "In January, Ayodhya's Ram Temple construction will be finished. Given that Chhattisgarh is Lord Ram's "nanihal," or mother home, the people there should be happier than those in Uttar Pradesh. The country's declaration of Ram Rajya will commence with the completion of the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the speaker declared. "Ram Rajya refers to a system of governance in which caste and religion are not grounds for discrimination. Schemes will benefit everyone, especially the underprivileged, tribal people, and the impoverished. Everyone has access to facilities, security, and resource rights. "This is Ram Rajya," declared Adityanath.The CM of UP claimed that the Congress created obstacles in the way of the Ram Temple's development. Adityanath stated, criticising the state's Congress administration. "On issues like religious conversion and love jihad, the local authority remains silent. In every manner, it is promoting these kinds of endeavours. This is an issue, not a government." "The Congress itself is become a concern. He implored the assembly, "Get rid of this issue as soon as you can and help us realise Chhattisgarh's dreams." Right-wing groups use the term "love jihad" to accuse Muslim men of plotting to convert Hindu women by seducing them into marriage.Adityanath further charged that the Baghel government was involved in schemes involving coal, alcohol, mining, and hiring through the Public Service Commission. Konta is one of the twenty seats in Chhattisgarh that will see elections in the first phase on November 7. Soyam Muka was matched up against Congress MLA and minister Kawasi Lakhma by the BJP. Sunday at 5 p.m. is when the first round of voting campaigning will conclude. Results for the 90-member House's 70 seats will be announced on December 3 following the conclusion of the second round of voting on November 17. Primary schools to remain shut till 10 Nov amid severe air pollution

NEW DELHI: Primary schools in Delhi will remain closed until November 10 due to the city's deteriorating air quality, according to Education Minister Atishi on Sunday. The Minister of Education also disclosed that classes 6–12 might go to online learning. "Primary schools in Delhi will remain closed until November 10th due to the persistently high levels of pollution. Schools have the option of switching to online instruction for grades 6 through 12, according to a post by Atishi on X. Following a dip in pollution readings into the "Severe" category earlier on Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a break for all public and private primary schools in the nation's capital.According to the System of Air Quality Forecasting and Research (SAFAR-India), Delhi's air quality stayed in the "Severe" category on Sunday for the fourth day in a row, despite a slight decrease in the overall Air Quality Index (AQI), which was recorded at 410 on Sunday as opposed to 504 on Saturday. SAFAR-India data indicates that the Delhi University region has 456 (Severe) air quality, whereas the Lodhi Road neighbourhood has 385 (Very Poor) air quality. Similar circumstances were observed in Noida, where SAFAR-India reports that the air quality fell to the "severe" category with an AQI of 466. Gurugram maintained its 'Very Poor' classification for air quality with an AQI of 392. Doctors advise that a healthy person's AQI should be less than 50, but these days, it has risen to 400, which can be lethal for individuals with lung-related conditions and even increase the chance of lung cancer. In a letter, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai asked Union Minister Bhupender Yadav to forbid cars from adjacent states in the Delhi-NCR from entering Delhi that do not comply with BS-VI standards. Additionally, he asked the environment ministers of the bordering governments to convene in an emergency. The Chief Secretaries of the impacted states have also been asked to respond by the National Green Tribunal (NGT), which has instructed them to take prompt corrective action and present a report on their actions to the tribunal. In a statement, NGT stated that in order to guarantee improved air quality for the locals, prompt action is needed for the prevention and control of air pollution in these cities. Punjab officer tries to stop farm fire, farmers make him burn stubble

CHANDIGARH: A government official who was part of a team to prevent farm fires was halted by some farmers in Bathinda, and the farmers forced him to burn a pile of stubble. This led to the Punjab Police opening a case against the farmers. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann released a video on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, denouncing the farmers' actions, which led to the incident's discovery. According to Bhagwant Mann, the incident was "intolerable" and the government official had gone to the fields to persuade farmers not to burn the paddy straw, but the "mobsters" forced him to light the straw with a matchstick. Two farmers can be seen in the video holding the official's hand and forcing him to light his stubble with a matchstick.Gulneet Singh Khurana, the senior superintendent of police in Bathinda, stated that following the incident's viral social media footage, the police filed a case against the farmers. He said that in order to apprehend these farmers, the police are looking for them. Showkat Ahmad Parray, the deputy commissioner for Bathinda, stated on Saturday that he had written to the SSP to file a formal complaint against the farmers for impeding the official's ability to carry out his duties. Parray claimed that the official was taken to a nearby field and made to set fire to a mound of stubble by a group of 50–60 farmers who were loyal to a farmers' association. "What choice did he (the official) have when he was mobbed? DC Parray said, "He was left with no choice. "I'm going to the village personally, too. We're not going to let it go. We will not put up with lawlessness," declared the DC. The burning of paddy straw in Punjab and Haryana is a primary cause of the concerning increase in Delhi's air pollution during the months of October and November. Based on data from the Punjab Remote Sensing Centre, 12,813 stubble-burning incidences have been documented in Punjab as of Friday.
