Lt Governor calls for peoples’ participation in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra to achieve 100% saturation of schemes, extension of benefits of Government schemes to all intended recipient

JAMMU: During the Awaam ki Awaaz programme this month, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha urged all members of the PRI, youth, women's self-help groups, entrepreneurs, voluntary organisations, and the general public to actively participate in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. "Every Panchayat and Urban Local Body in J&K will be included in the Government of India's largest-ever outreach initiative, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra," he declared. It is crucial for people to participate in order for programmes to reach 100% saturation and for all intended beneficiaries to benefit from them."As the sun sets on 2023 and we reflect on the months that have gone by, we observe remarkable development, an improvement in both rural and urban areas' quality of life, and evident advancement everywhere. "I see J&K moving confidently towards the goal," the Lieutenant Governor remarked. The Lieutenant Governor, while narrating the commendable achievements of the populace, singled out Munshi Ramji, an elderly resident of Udhampur, for special mention. Munshi made an e-cycle out of used laptop batteries and electronic waste. The Hon. Prime Minister's Vocal for Local and Green India Initiative inspired Munshi Ramji, and he intends to raise awareness of and encourage others to adopt greener lifestyles. Despite her disabilities, Sadaf from Srinagar succeeded in becoming a successful entrepreneur, and for that, the Lieutenant Governor praised her. The tale of Sadaf's life is one of perseverance, faith in oneself, diligence, and willpower. Other citizens can be inspired by her competence, skills, and knowledge, he said. The Lieutenant Governor gave the District Administrations instructions to honour remarkable and fearless women like Meenakshi Devi of Bhaderwah and provide them with the assistance they require. The embodiment of Nari Shakti is a woman named Meenakshi Devi, who drives an e-rickshaw. The Lieutenant Governor stated that despite great obstacles, she is providing inspiration to those going through hardship and hope to her family.Thanking Pooja of Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, for starting her own line of handmade chocolates, "Smiley Chocolates," the Lieutenant Governor stated that Pooja's entrepreneurial journey is encouraging other local women to take a brave stand and turn obstacles into opportunities. The Lieutenant Governor also talked about the entrepreneurial path of Tangmarg's Javed Ahmed, a Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana recipient who encourages young people to start their own businesses rather than just look for work. He applauded Tariq Ahmed Ganie of Kulgam for his efforts in achieving the waste to wealth economic model's objective through the operation of a productive waste recycling unit. According to him, Tariq is not only creating jobs for young people in the area but also constructing a more sustainable and clean future. The recommendations from the public were also mentioned by the lieutenant governor. He instructed the relevant departments and officials to take the necessary action in response to the insightful inputs from the following people: Ehsaan Khaleeq from Pulwama; Anil Thapa from Udhampur; Kanwal Singh from Kathua; Noor Ud Din Khan from Baramulla; Madeena Mir from Srinagar; Saurav Sharma from Kathua; and Poonam Sharma from Jammu.
