Will find attackers of merchant navy ships even from depths of seas and take strict action : Rajnath Singh

MUMBAI: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Tuesday that the Indian government has taken the recent attacks on the merchant navy ships MV Chem Pluto and MV Sai Baba seriously and will take strict action against those responsible, even if they are located in the "depths of seas." Following the recent attacks on merchant navy ships, Singh stated that India has increased sea patrols following the commissioning of the stealth guided missile destroyer INS Imphal. The drone attacks on the MV Saibaba and MV Chem Pluto in the Red Sea have been taken seriously by the Indian government.Even from the depths of the ocean, we will track down and punish those responsible for the recent attacks on merchant navy ships, Singh vowed. After a drone struck the MV Chem Pluto, which had 21 Indian crew members on board, on Saturday approximately 217 nautical miles off the coast of Porbandar, the Indian Coast Guard and Navy sent out several resources to help the ship. There have been reports of a drone attack in the Southern Red Sea on a commercial crude oil tanker flying the flag of Gabon and carrying 25 Indian crew members. Subsequently, Indian officials made it clear that the commercial oil tanker did not fly the Indian flag. Admiral R Hari Kumar, the head of the Navy, announced that four destroyers have been sent out to combat drone attacks and piracy against merchant ships. He said that in order to combat the threats posed by drone attacks and piracy, the Coast Guard, Dorniers, P-8I aircraft, helicopters, and ships have all been deployed in tandem. Farooq Bats For India-Pak Dialogue Claims J&K Could Become ‘Gaza’ Without Dialogue

Srinagar, Dec 26: Farooq Abdullah, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, issued a warning on Tuesday, saying that in the "absence" of political dialogue, the Union Territory would suffer the same fate as Gaza, which is at war with Israel. Additionally, he exhorted the leaders of Pakistan and India to engage in dialogue in order to resolve their bilateral problems. The President of the National Conference quoted the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, saying, "We can change our friends, but we cannot change our neighbours." Both will advance if we continue to be cordial with our neighbours. The leader of the NC stated that PM Modi also stated that "dialogue should be the means of resolving the issue" and "war is not an option at this time."Farooq questioned Pakistan and India, two nations with nuclear weapons, asking, "Where is the dialogue?" "Where's the conversation at? With Nawaz Sharif poised to take over as Pakistan's prime minister, there is talk that the country is "ready to talk" with India. But why are they not prepared to speak? "Kashmir will suffer the same fate as Gaza and Palestine, which are being bombed by Israel, if we do not find a solution through dialogue," he threatened. Just a few months before the Kargil War broke out, in 1999, former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee paid a visit to Pakistan. During an unexpected visit to Pakistan in 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Nawaz. The reason for the strained relations is Pakistan's persistent attempts to send terrorists into India. Indians have been in constant pain and indignation since the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. India-Pakistan relations took a severe hit in 2019 following the repeal of Article 370. The most recent remarks made by Farooq Abdullah were made a few days following the murder of four soldiers in a terror attack on an Army Convoy in the Poonch area. Speaking during an event called "Veer Bal Diwas" to honour the martyrdom of two of Guru Gobind Singh's sons, Modi stated that programmes in the US, Australia, and New Zealand are among the nations where their sacrifices are being honoured in addition to being remembered in India. According to Modi, his administration has a clear plan in place to help all young people in India realise their limitless potential, regardless of the area or culture in which they were raised. Prime Minister Modi will lead a youth march later in the day to commemorate "Veer Baal Diwas." Additionally, the government would arrange citizen-involved programmes across the nation to teach and enlighten the populace—especially young children—about the heroic bravery of the two young Khalsas known as the Sahibzades.There will be a digital exhibit about the life and sacrifice of the Sahibzades on display in childcare centres and schools around the nation. 'Veer Baal Diwas' will also be the subject of a nationwide film screening. The MYBharat and MyGov portals will host a number of online competitions, including interactive quiz shows. Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that December 26 would be observed annually as 'Veer Bal Diwas' to commemorate the martyrdom of his sons Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji on January 9, 2022, the day of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Prakash Purab. On this day, too, the great revolutionary Udham Singh was born. In March 1940, he killed General O'Dwyer, who had ordered his troops to open fire on peaceful protestors, in retaliation for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar on Baisakhi in 1919. Later, the British executed Shaheed Udham Singh by hanging in London. Udham Singh, who was born on December 26, 899, in Sunam, Punjab, was raised as Sher Singh. Udham Singh was forever affected by the massacre that occurred on April 13, 1919, at Jallianwala Bagh. General Dwyer opened fire on the crowd celebrating Baisakhi at Jallianwala Bagh in Armitsar. He blocked off the main entrance and gave the order for his troops to fire on the gathering. On March 13, 1940, the British officer was due to speak at Caxton Hall in London. Uddham Singh went into the hallway, concealed a handgun inside a book, and shot O'Dwyer. On April 1, 1940, he was formally charged with the murder. In detention, he identified as "Ram Mohammad Singh Azad." In London, on July 31, 1940, he was hanged. Our Priority Is To Empower Poor And Deprived Sections: PM

INDORE, Dec 25: The respect and empowerment of the underprivileged and impoverished segments of society is the government's top priority, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. He added that during the BJP's "double-engine" government (at the centre and in Madhya Pradesh), thousands of crores of rupees had been invested in the area around Indore. Modi stated this will result in thousands of job opportunities while speaking via video link at a programme held to distribute debts totaling Rs 224 crore that belonged to employees of the Hukumchand Mill in the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He said at the "Mazdooron ka Hit, Mazdooron ko Samarpit" programme that the decision will help over 4,800 labourers.The PM expressed his gratitude to the state government for finally resolving the long-standing issue and said he was fortunate to be present. According to him, the Madhya Pradesh government has made great progress in improving the lives of the underprivileged. As I've always stated, the poor, young, women, and farmers make up the largest four castes in my opinion. Respecting and empowering the underprivileged is our top priority, he declared. Modi went on to say that the "double-engine" government and the people of the state will benefit from receiving the blessings of labourers on Good Governance Day, which is observed on the anniversary of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birth. Following the closure of the Hukumchand Mill in Indore in 1992 and its liquidation, the workers engaged in a protracted legal battle to recover their dues. The state Housing & Infrastructure Development Board and labour unions signed a settlement agreement on the Madhya Pradesh government's initiative, and on December 20, the settlement money was deposited in the high court, according to officials earlier. According to what Modi has been told, there was a festive mood in Indore when the package for the workers at Hukumchand Mill was announced. "Our labourer brothers and sisters are even more joyful now that this decision has been made," he remarked. According to Modi, years of penance by labourers produced today's programme. It is the result of many years of their dreams and resolutions. I firmly believe that the families of…
