No One Can Stop CAA Implementation : Shah At Kolkata Rally

Kolkata, Nov 29: The Citizenship (Amendment) Act would be implemented by the Central government, and no one can stop it, according to Home Minister Amit Shah's statement on Wednesday. Speaking at a sizable gathering in this city to kick off the party's Lok Sabha campaign, Shah blasted Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on issues of political violence, infiltration, corruption, and appeasement. He also urged the populace to overthrow her government and support the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections. Praiseing the attendance at the gathering, he asserted that this reflected the sentiment of the people and predicted that the BJP will win a two-thirds majority in the state in 2026.According to him, the BJP's performance in the state during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will lay the groundwork for its victory in the assembly elections. Speaking on the controversial CAA, he stated that although Banerjee has been against it, nobody can halt its implementation, which has been put on hold while the central government draughts new regulations in response to the opposition's adamant resistance to the law. Speaking on the law's intended beneficiaries, Shah stated that they were entitled to citizenship just like everyone else. Shah wanted to set the tone for the party's Lok Sabha campaign in the state when he spoke at the gathering at the iconic Esplanade. In 2019, the party secured 18 out of the 42 seats in the state, marking a record high. Politicians’ true wealth lies beyond simple attire and torn shoes : Rahul

KERALA: Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, stated on Wednesday that certain politicians are "too smart" to hide their genuine wealth from the public eye and hence cannot be assessed by their modesty or less expensive watches. At the book presentation here for the late Muslim League leader P Seethi Haji, Gandhi stated that one can tell a lot about a politician's actual character by looking at their offspring. You are aware that the politicians I encounter are intelligent individuals. Politicians of today will only display the things that they deem appropriate.There are occasions when individuals come to see me with worn shoes, basic attire, and no fancy watches. They drive enormous BMWs when you visit their houses. These men are too intelligent. They are aware of your search," declared Gandhi. Politicians, he claimed, might conceal elements of their personalities with clothes and accessories, but "the truth cannot be hidden when it comes to their children." He claimed that as a result, he had to devise a new technique to swiftly and correctly assess these people. The former head of Congress claimed to have spent almost eighteen years in the political arena, engaging with various types of politicians, before developing this "bulletproof" method of assessing or rating people. "It took me eighteen years to discover a foolproof method that would make it hard for anyone to conceal the truth about who they really are. I request that they give their kids to me. "The truth cannot be concealed from the children," declared Gandhi following the publication of the book "Speeches of Late P Seethi Haji in the Kerala Legislative Assembly." Haji led the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and served as the 9th Kerala Legislative Assembly's main whip for the administration. Although Gandhi had never met Haji, he claimed that he could tell a lot about the late IUML leader's character just by glancing at his son, P K Basheer. "This is what I'm saying since Basheer bears his father's stamp. So, just by looking at him, I can identify his father. Nothing is concealable," he declared. Gandhi stated that he observed Basheer to be both personable and approachable during the 2019 local elections. The Wayanad Congress MP also stated in his address that a person "cannot be a leader" if they lack humility and the ability to look inward. He claimed that by listening to the other leaders at the event speak, he was able to comprehend that Haji was a self-reflective individual who could laugh at himself and not take himself too seriously.
