Jan 22, 2024 will be remembered as new era in history of rising India: Rana

JAMMU: Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana declared today that January 22, 2024, will be remembered as a significant date in India's history as the start of a period marked by inclusivity and harmony, the foundation of Sanatan Dharma, and a global way of life embodied by Vasudeva Kutumbakam. Devender Rana spoke at the grand opening of the magnificent "Mukhya Dwaar" of the ancient Narshinghji Temple at Gharota in Block Bhalwal. "Let this sacred and historical occasion inspire us all to emulate the ideals of Maryada Purushottam Shree Ram and foster the bonds that bind us as a nation believing in compassion, righteousness, and love for humanity," he said. The Senior BJP leader greeted the crowd during Prime Minister Yashasvi Narendra Modi's consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, describing the holy undertaking as a voyage spanning more than 500 years of devotion and resolve. This generation is fortunate to have witnessed the Tapasya of millions of Sanatanis who endured shame but remained unwavering in their resolve to have the home for Ram Lalla—the embodiment of the ideals of righteousness and virtue—where the Lord was born. The construction of the Ram Temple is a testament to the enduring faith and reverence for the Maryada Purshotam. He went on to say that this is a historic turning point in the rich tapestry of growing Bharat's cultural and spiritual history, one that would illuminate the world and pave the path for the country to become Vishwaguru. According to Devender Rana, the Ram Temple symbolises the nation's love for Shree Ram, who stands for compassion, justice, and an unbroken commitment to the truth. The temple is intended to represent the hopes of all Sanatanis for a society based on these timeless principles. The speaker highlighted that the construction of a wonderful temple by thousands of people, regardless of their faith, caste, or area, is a symbol of inclusive India. Within the ancient and historic temple, Rana prayed for harmony and serenity. Additionally, he participated in Special Pujas for world peace and fraternity among hundreds of other devotees. Among those in attendance on the occasion were prominent figures such as Dr Ashwani Mangotra, Capt Raj Kumar, Ashok Kerni, Dil Bahadur Singh, Lala Kishori, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Jai Ram Mangotra, Kuldeep Bhagat, Rana Pratap, and Kuldeep Singh Langeh. AYODHYA: On Monday, Uma Bharti and Sadhvi Ritambhara, who were instrumental in the Ram Temple movement, travelled to Ayodhya to attend Ram Lalla's Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Mandir. “Does Ram belong to Hindus, BJP, RSS only?” Farooq Abdullah

MUMBAI: Prior to Jammu & Kashmir Farooq Abdullah, a member of parliament (MP) and chief minister, questioned whether Lord Ram is limited to a single temple and is only associated with Hindus on Sunday regarding the Pran Pratishtha ritual at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Speaking at an event celebrating the birth anniversary of Madhu Dandavate, Abdullah voiced his worry that Hindus, who make up seventy percent of India's population, are being led to feel as though they are in danger. Is Ram the god of the BJP, the RSS, and just Hindus? Is Ram found exclusively in Ayodhya? And do you need an invitation to go there? All people belong to Lord Ram. Everywhere you look, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, you may find Ram temples.We are unable to acknowledge Lord Ram, even though he is present in every particle of our hearts," he remarked. The J-K CM went on to say that there wouldn't have been hostility if people had acknowledged Lord Ram. "Hatred would not have existed if we had recognised. "Ram Raj" is Mahatma Gandhi's term for equality. Are the seventy percent of Hindus in our nation in danger? However, it was implied that they were in danger," he continued. On January 22, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to perform the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the new Ram Lalla idol. Inside the temple's sanctum santorum is the idol of Lord Ram in his child form, created by Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj. However, Farooq Abdullah claimed that the nation "failed to make the Election Commission independent" when discussing the electronic voting machine (EVM). "I was the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir when this voting machine (EVM) was introduced, and we in the cabinet had inquired as to whether 'chori' could be done with this machine. And they replied, "Yes, it is possible." So why was this machine needed to be brought? We are to blame for this. Who will hear us when we yell, "Machine chor hai," today? He continued, "We neglected to make the Election Commission independent when we ought to have."
