‘Bhakti-shakti’ confluence led to grand Ram temple construction in Ayodhya: Yogi

PUNE: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath claimed on Sunday that the "saga of 500 years of slavery" was broken by the convergence of "bhakti and shakti," which resulted in the building of the magnificent Ram temple in Ayodhya. Adityanath praised Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for defying Mughal emperor Aurangzeb while speaking at the Geeta Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav in Alandi, Maharashtra's Pune region. On January 22, this year, a lavish ceremony was organised at the Ayodhya shrine to dedicate the idol of Ram Lalla. According to Adityanath, devotion and strength are coming together today as "shakti and bhakti" come together. By ending the tale of 500 years of enslavement, the union of bhakti and shakti resulted in the building of the magnificent Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. We had the chance to see that extraordinary occasion," he remarked. Maharashtra's population is lucky, according to the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, since they have been blessed by saints for hundreds of years. "This shakti is defeating the adversaries because it sprang from bhakti. From this area, Samarth Ramdas had spawned Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who defied the authority of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and was abandoned to suffer and die, with no one caring about him even now "said the speaker. The chief minister of UP claimed that Maharashtra is known as the region of valour because of its closeness to venerable saints. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a manifestation of strength and devotion, he stated. Adityanath claimed to have travelled to Agra following his election as Uttar Pradesh's chief minister. There was a 'Mughal museum' under construction. Since we are related to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and not the Mughals, I suggested that the museum be named in his honour," he remarked. According to Adityanath, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is also honoured by the defensive corridor that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced will be built in Uttar Pradesh. "I am sure that the country's armed forces are achieving the aim of getting atmanirbhar (self-reliant)," he stated. Assembly elections in J&K before Sep 2024: Tarun Chugh

SRINAGAR: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has been under fire for not holding polls in Jammu and Kashmir, declared today that the state would have elections before September. "Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls will take place prior to September," declared Tarun Chugh, the chief BJP general secretary, on Saturday. According to Chugh, the BJP wants Assembly elections to take place as soon as feasible. He did, however, clarify that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has the last say and that the BJP is ready for polls before September. He pointed to recent bills that give Paharis in the area reservations, praising the BJP for its earlier, model efforts to provide similar privileges to other underprivileged groups like Gujjars.Politicians such as Omar Abdullah, the vice-president of the National Conference, have accused the BJP and the Election Commission of postponing the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. According to Abdullah, if the region's Assembly elections were held today, the BJP would not even win ten seats. Omar has earlier expressed regret about the Supreme Court's directive to hold Assembly elections before September. "In other words, the EC ought to be embarrassed of itself. The citizens need an apology from the EC. The Supreme Court made the ruling that had to be made. The Indian government ought to have assisted the EC in making the decision to hold elections. However, neither of them seemed to care about it.In its ruling on December 11 of last year, the Supreme Court ruled that Article 370 had been revoked and ordered the Election Commission (EC) to conduct polls in Jammu and Kashmir by September 30. Leading a five-judge Constitution Bench, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud declared that direct elections were an essential component of democracy and could not be excluded. NEW DELHI, Feb 10: In 2022–2023 the ruling BJP received about ₹1,300 crore through electoral bonds, seven times more than the Congress received through the same mechanism during the same year. In the fiscal year 2022–2023 the BJP received ₹2120 crore in total donations, of which 61% came from electoral bonds, according per the party's annual audited report that was filed with the Election Commission. The party made ₹1775 crore in contributions overall in FY 2021–2022. The party's overall revenue increased from ₹1917 crore in FY 2021–22 to ₹2360.8 crore in FY 2022–23. Conversely, the Congress's earnings from electoral bonds decreased to ₹171 crore from ₹236 crore in the fiscal year 2021–2022. Both the Congress and the BJP are acknowledged national parties. In 2021–2022, the Samajwadi Party—a recognised state party—was able to obtain ₹3.2 crore from electoral bonds. It did not get any funding from these bonds in 2022–2023. The TDP, a different state-recognized party, made ₹34 crore in 2022–2023 from electoral bonds, a ten-fold increase over the previous fiscal year. In the most recent fiscal year, the BJP received ₹237 crore from interest, an increase from ₹135 crore in 2021–2022.The BJP paid ₹78.2 crore for the use of aircraft and helicopters out of its overall expenditure on "election and general propaganda," which is less than the ₹117.4 crore it paid in 2021–2022. Additionally, the party gave candidates ₹76.5 crore in funding, down from ₹146.4 crore in 2021–2022. This support has been provided by the party under the heading "total payments." Altaf Bukahri Appeals To Centre To Hold Ls And Assembly Elections Simultaneously In J&K

Srinagar, Feb 10: Altaf Bukhari, the chairman of the Apni Party, urged New Delhi on Saturday to schedule the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and Lok Sabha elections concurrently. He asserted that as the elected Assembly plays a crucial role in defending the interests of the people, the people of J&K would receive everything from it. "The Parliament will not assist the people of J&K in any way. If anything comes through an elected Assembly, it will be this. Bukahri told reporters in Srinagar, "The Assembly elections in J&K will be icing on the cake as the situation is very normal.""I request that Jammu and Kashmir hold simultaneous elections for the Lok Sabha and Assembly in New Delhi." The last time Jammu and Kashmir held an Assembly election was in 2014, when PDP emerged as the biggest political party and partnered with BJP. 2018 saw the fall of the coalition government following the BJP's withdrawal. Since then, Jammu and Kashmir has not had an elected assembly. Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections are allegedly being postponed by the BJP and the Election Commission, according to mainstream political parties in Kashmir. Bukahri, the Finance Minister in the Mehbooba Mufti-led PDP-BJP administration, responded to news of separatists joining his party by saying that the Apni Party welcomes everyone who thinks that J&K is a part of India and respects the nation's Constitution. "Those who join our party ought not to engage in violence or murder. We are unable to determine a new member's affiliation with the Hurriyat, National Conference, BJP, or PDP. The Apni Party Chairman declared, "Our party is open to all the residents of J&K as this is their party and I welcome all into the party fold." Separatist leader Bashir Ahmad Wani just became a member of the Apni Party.
