We required it. It is crucial for both our population and tourists. This is a significant step that was accomplished today. Farooq Abdullah, the head of the National Conference, congratulated PM Modi and the Railway Ministry on their accomplishment."The rail link between us helps with the supply and transportation of goods and services, as well as many issues that could arise with the road service. I'm hoping that this service will help our people advance. The former JK CM said, "We had hoped that this service would happen in 2007, but there were many challenges because of the terrain. However, they have overcome this, and this service will start." Congress Believes Only One Family Has Right Over Bharat Ratna: PM Modi

LUCKNOW, Feb 19: On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took aim at the Congress, stating that the party thinks a single family has the right to the Bharat Ratna. At a groundbreaking ceremony for over 14,000 projects costing over Rs 10 lakh crore across the state, Modi was speaking to a crowd. "Our government had the honour of presenting Chaudhary Charan Singh, the farmer Messiah, with the Bharat Ratna just a few days ago. Paying tribute to Chaudhary Saheb, the descendant of Uttar Pradesh, is a privilege shared by millions of the nation's labourers and farmers. However, he remarked, "Unfortunately, the Congress and its friends are unaware of this."You must have observed how the Congressmen made it impossible to even bring up Chaudhary Saheb during the Parliamentary discussion of (name of) Chaudhary Charan Singh. The prime minister stated, "Congress people think that Bharat Ratna belongs to a single family." He added that the Congress continued to award Bharat Ratna to members of their own families, even though Baba Saheb Ambedkar was not one of them for decades. In 1990, Ambedkar received the nation's highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, posthumously. "Because they do not exist in its thinking, the Congress does not want to respect the poor, Dalits, backward classes, farmers, and labourers," Modi remarked.He stated that the Congress has made a concerted effort to negotiate with former prime minister Chaudhary Charan Singh ji even during his live. "Chaudhary Saheb resigned as prime minister, but he did not waver from his beliefs." According to Modi, Chaudhary Charan Singh detested political wrangling, however it is regrettable that the Uttar Pradesh political parties operating under his name did not uphold the values of Chaudhary Saheb. The nation will never forget what Choudhary Saheb accomplished for small farmers, according to the prime minister. "We are consistently empowering the country's farmers today, drawing inspiration from Chaudhary Saheb." Senior representatives from the Indian government as well as a group of J&K UT administrators led by Divisional Commissioner Jammu accompanied the minister. "There is a huge amount of excitement on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Jammu tomorrow, with the people eagerly awaiting his arrival" , stated Dr. Jitendra Singh here. He claimed that almost all of the people living in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory want to be included in the scheme.The Union Minister had just finished examining the plans for the Prime Minister's event, which was scheduled to take place at the city's M.A. Stadium. Officials from the security services and civil administration briefed Dr Jitendra Singh on the intricate and essential preparations being made for Modi's public programme. "I am glad that both the society and the administration have got together to make adequate arrangements for it" , remarked the president. According to the Minister, attendees are travelling from all across UT, especially from eleven districts in the Jammu region. He told them that while those from nearby areas like Samba and Kathua will come at the site tomorrow morning, those attending the programme from far-flung districts like Poonch, Kishtwar, and Ramban will arrive in the city either tonight. Dr Jitendra Singh stated that sufficient preparations have been made for the invitees' lodging, food, and hygienic needs in order to ensure their comfortable attendance at the event. According to Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Prime Minister would unveil initiatives valued at over 30,000 crore rupees. He claimed that the four ministers of the Indian government—the Ministries of Education, Civil Aviation, Railways, and Petroleum—had carried out these programmes.The Union Minister restated that J&K's infrastructure development has been given top priority by Prime Minister Modi. He claimed that the fact that Prime Minister Modi established two AIIMS, IIM, IIT, and IIMC in the Union Territory is proof of how much importance he places on Jammu and Kashmir. Dr Jitendra Singh remembered that shortly after becoming prime minister, Modi approved the largest development package for J&K in the previous 70 years. According to Dr Singh, Modi faced a flood issue in Uttar Pradesh shortly after taking office and handled the crisis well. He claimed that in addition to providing the region with enormous financial and material support, Modi has also worked to remove psychological barriers by enacting constitutional amendments that were approved on August 5 and 6, 2019, which have aided in mainstreaming the UT. Remain Committed To Unity Of INDIA Bloc, Says PDP Amid Reports Of Party Quitting Alliance

Srinagar, Feb 19: On Monday, the PDP denied rumours that it was thinking of quitting the opposition INDIA group and insisted that it was still committed to keeping the coalition together. The People's Democratic Party (PDP) stated, "Disregard the fabricated news about @jkpdp considering breaking ties with the INDIA alliance," in a post on its official handle on X. We remain steadfast in our dedication to our alliance and unity. Don't let this malevolent misinformation trick you! The PDP reportedly opted to run for the Lok Sabha elections independently after splitting from the INDIA group, according to reports in certain media outlets. This prompted the party to respond.When National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah declared that the party would run its own campaign in the Lok Sabha elections last week, a similar uproar erupted. The party vice-president and son of Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, hastily called a news conference to refute the recommendations, stating that the National Conference was still dedicated to the INDIA bloc. But in Kashmir, which had won all three Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 elections, he dismissed the idea of seat sharing.Omar Abdullah stated that his party was amenable to a compromise about the two seats in the Jammu area and one in Ladakh that the BJP presently holds.
