SSP inaugurates Cyber Cell at PS Rajouri

RAJOURI: To detect and prevent cybercrimes, SSP Rajouri, Amritpal Singh, opened a Cyber Cell on the Police Station Rajouri grounds. During his recent visit to the Cyber Police Station in Jammu, ADGP Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, assessed the difficulties the public has in travelling to Jammu from remote places to report cybercrimes, and he made the decision to establish cyber cells in each district headquarters. Cyber cells are being set up in practically every district per Jain's orders with the goal of handling complaints about cybercrimes, providing prompt and professional responses, and guaranteeing high-quality investigations of such crimes. This recently established cyber cell, which includes resources like contemporary workspace for information officers with high-speed internet and data access, will operate around-the-clock to detect and prevent cybercrimes. Its scope includes issues such as bank fraud, hacking, sexual harassment and abuse, activities carried out through social media, such as the creation of fictitious social media profiles, cyber threats, and crimes covered by the Information Technology Act of 2000. Districts must conduct sufficient awareness campaigns to educate the public about cybercrimes and the precautions that can be taken to avoid them. In order to facilitate online complaint registration, Cyber Cell Rajouri has also established a dedicated email address, Cybercell-rajouri@jkpolice.gov.in. JAMMU: Mandeep Kaur, the commissioner secretary for the housing and urban development department, took a thorough tour of Jammu City today, stopping at several areas to evaluate the status of ongoing projects and JMC assets. Rahul Yadav, the Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation, as well as other senior officials were with her. Mandeep Kaur visited the forthcoming 5 TPD Material Recovery Canter (MRC) being handled by CEE as well as the Bandu-Rakh 5 TPD Material Recovery facility (MRF). She was told that the new MRC will have internal recycling and be the first of its kind in Jammu & Kashmir.She gave the officials instructions to expand MRF's capacity. She emphasised the significance and necessity of appropriate waste management and requested that the concerned officials begin composting as soon as possible in order to handle moist trash as well. The Commissioner Secretary paid a visit to the Jeevan Nagar commercial complex, the first phase of which has been finished. She gave orders to pick up the pace on the remaining tasks so they could be finished on time. Mandeep Kaur also went to Dogra Hall and the Gujjar Nagar abattoir. She gave the officials orders to finish the unfinished business there first.She gave the Commissioner JMC instructions to research the optimal operating model and use self-sustaining outsourcing to guarantee these facilities are operating properly. Finally, the Commissioner Secretary made a visit to the JMC livestock pound at Dogra Hall and the under-construction cow pound at Bandhu-Rakh. She gave the concerned party instructions to use the cow dung compost from Dogra Hall in JMC parks and gardens using the appropriate system, expressing her appreciation for the work and upkeep done at the cattle pound. The Commissioner Secretary urged the officers to make sure that all ongoing development projects are completed within the designated schedule and quality requirements, but also as quickly as possible. During the visit, other attendees included the Joint Commissioner (H&S), Joint Commissioner (W), Executive Engineer (M), Municipal Veterinary Officer, and others.
