Congress strong in all 90 assembly seats of J&K

SRINAGAR: In Jammu and Kashmir's 90 assembly seats, the Congress asserted on Sunday that it is unbeatable, while the National Conference, BJP, and PDP have relatively minor sway. "All 90 Jammu and Kashmir constituencies accept the Congress. According to Pradesh Congress Committee President Vikar Rasool, after elections are held, the Congress party will be the only major player because the influence of other parties like the NC, BJP, and PDP is quite little. On Sunday, Rasool welcomed a sizable number of political activists into the party and noted that many activists from other parties had joined Congress over the previous year. "Nearly 80% of Aam Aadmi Party members in Jammu have joined Congress. The AAP has shut down its Jammu office. Nearly 80% of DPAP employees are now members of Congress. People from other parties have also joined us, he said. The PCC president praised the BJP leaders for trying to claim credit for the release of religious leaders in Jammu and Kashmir, but he also welcomed their release. "Arresting religious leaders like Mirwaiz, Veeri, and Dawoodi was wrong. Veeri and Dawoodi were held under the PSA, and a court ultimately released them on bond. After four years, Mirwaiz received his release. We appreciate it. No religious leader, of any religion, should be imprisoned, according to Rasool. "At the moment, some leaders are taking selfies with these religious leaders in order to gain attention. Then you won't feel guilty about snapping selfies with them," he said. "First you jail them. When asked about the tension in relations between India and Canada, Rasool responded, "It is the failure of the government's foreign policy the way we have friction in relations with some countries." He claimed that the purpose of the "one nation, one election" panel was to deflect attention from the important concerns. "BJP aims to deflect people's focus from important issues. The 'one nation, one election' committee is made up exclusively of BJP members, he continued.
