According to the home minister, the administration has been effective in combating terrorism and drug trafficking under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that during the past five years, under Prime Minister Modi's direction, the function of zonal councils has shifted from one of advising to one of action platform. He requested that all of the member states and UTs provide primary attention to issues that affect everyone as a whole, such as the country's cooperative movement, the school dropout rate, and starvation. No youngster in the nation should continue to be malnourished, according to the home ministry. He asserted that lowering the school dropout rate is everyone's responsibility and that encouraging the cooperative movement will help the nation's more than 60 crore citizens advance towards prosperity. In order to benefit the nation's farmers, he urged all member states and UTs to adopt natural and organic farming. He stated that the entire country is supporting the state at this time of need and pledged to provide all assistance from the Centre to the Himachal Pradesh administration in handling the situation brought on by the recent floods. The Northern Zonal Council responded positively to the home minister's request by applauding Chandrayaan-3's outstanding performance, the world's recognition of India's G20 leadership, and the passage of the women's reservation bill. At the direction of terrorist handlers stationed in Pakistan, the terrorist associates were involved in the cross-border smuggling of weapons and ammunition, which was then sent to Lashkar-e-Toiba militants for use in terrorist actions.Amod Nagpure, senior superintendent of police (SSP), Baramulla, provided details at a press conference, saying that on September 21, police learned through reliable sources that Yaseen Ahmad Shah, a resident of Janbazpora Baramulla, is missing from his home and has joined outlawed terror group LeT/TRF. Three LeT terrorist affiliates were detained as part of another operation, according to the SSP, which led to the discovery of a terror module. Security forces observed two suspicious individuals travelling from Dachi towards Paranpeelan Bridge while conducting checks at the bridge, Nagpure said. The two attempted to leave as soon as they were aware of the naka party, but they were skilfully caught. No change in peaceful atmosphere in Kashmir post Kokernag encounter: DGP

KATRA: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh of Jammu and Kashmir stated on Tuesday that the peaceful environment in Kashmir has not changed as a result of the Kokernag encounter and that it is still quiet. However, he asserted that firing first is always advantageous, and in Kokernag, terrorists fired first, killing three officers as a result. The Kokernag encounter hasn't altered the situation in Kashmir, according to DGP Dilbag Singh, who was speaking to reporters after opening a modular police station in Katra, Jammu. The situation is still calm, just as it was before the meeting with Kokernag.I am aware that the Kokernag encounter has been exaggerated by some parties with a stake in it, he remarked. He claimed that starting the fire first is usually advantageous. "It works to our favour when security forces fire first at the terrorists. Two army soldiers and a police officer were killed as a result of terrorists waiting for the forces in Kokernag and taking advantage of the first firing, the DGP stated, adding that the operation, which lasted seven days, was successful. "We eliminated Uzair Khan and his accomplice, two dangerous LeT terrorists. Since it was challenging to track down and find the terrorists hidden on a sizable mountain, I'm proud of the security forces teams who took part in the operation. The police and security forces are dedicated to eliminating terror from J&K territory, according to the DGP. The remaining terrorists are being pursued, and they will soon be destroyed, he vowed. According to the DGP, police have tripled their efforts to combat narcoterrorism. "Look at the arrests, FIRs, and cases registered with regard to narco-terror," he commanded. The DGP claimed that the brand-new Katra police station will better serve Mata Vaishno Devi devotees. The old police station in this area was in disrepair, and it was decided a few years ago that it was urgently necessary to establish a new one. Today, he added, we are dedicating it to the people.
