JKSSB aspirants protest for revival of waiting list in recruitments

JAMMU: JKSSB candidates renewed their demonstrations at Jammu's Hari Singh Park, demanding the reinstatement of the waiting list feature in the recruitment process. With signs and yells supporting their demand, they urged the government to take quick action to address the waiting list revival issue. Leading the protest was Swarn Veer Singh Jaral, who stated, "Despite earlier assurances, our legitimate demand remains unaddressed, prompting us to once again take to the streets in pursuit of justice." Remembering that the protests had previously been put on hold due to senior BJP leader Balwant Singh Mankotia's commitment to resolve the matter by January 26th, he bemoaned the fact that the promise had not been fulfilled to this point, leaving the candidates disenchanted. He said that the candidates' resolute dedication to their cause and their demand for accountability are demonstrated by the protests' recent restart. During the event, Chaudhary Imtiyaz Zafar, Muktesh Yogi, Ankush Sharma, and other speakers urged responsibility, fairness, and transparency in the hiring process.
