Gulmarg, Feb 21: Leader of the National Conference Omar Abdullah requested on Wednesday that the Central government upgrade Gulmarg's skiing facilities in order to draw more winter sports enthusiasts to Kashmir. Although there is something special about skiing in Gulmarg, I've noted that the facilities haven't changed since we left in 2014. at the last ten years, nothing new has been added, Abdullah informed reporters at this location. "The Gondola (cable car) went up interrupted probably just once in two days," he continued.The former chief minister asserted that a number of skiers who had previously visited Gulmarg were now travelling to Kazakhstan. The former chief minister left office in 2014. RAMBAN: Following two days of being closed to traffic, a portion of the Jammu-Srinagar highway has been reopened, according to traffic officials on Wednesday. After landslides occurred at more than a dozen locations in the Ramban district on Monday, the roadway was closed. A traffic authority from J&K stated, "Jammu-Srinagar NHW partially restored single way only stranded vehicles between Nashri & Banihal are being cleared." Govt Notifies Drugs, Diagnostics To Be Available Free Of Cost At J&K Health Centres

JAMMU, Feb 21: A list of medications and diagnostics that will be given away for free at different health and wellness centres around the Union Territory has been announced by the Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department. An order states that starting immediately, at least 65 medications and 38 diagnostic tests will be provided without charge at all Primary Health Centres and Sub-Centres located throughout Jammu and Kashmir.Notably, NHM J&K advised creating a committee to review and approve the list in addition to proposing to expand the quantity of medications and diagnostics available at Health & Wellness Centres. In light of this, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, recommended that a committee be formed to finalise the list of free medications and diagnostics to be provided at Health and Wellness Centres. This order mentions this. According to the order, a list of free medications and diagnostics is announced and will be made available at Jammu and Kashmir's Primary Health Centres and Sub-Centre based on the committee's recommendations. Jammu, Feb 20: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Tuesday that residents in the Union territory are now free to enjoy the nightlife without worry after Prime Minister Narendra Modi lifted Article 370, liberating Jammu and Kashmir from terrorism and corruption. According to Sinha, incidences linked to terrorism have decreased by 75%, and stone-pelting is now a thing of the past. The nightlife in Kashmir is currently enjoyed by the general public. Restaurants and movie theatres are open in the nights. Young people playing guitars are enjoying their evenings on the banks of the Jhelum River, and Jammu residents will soon be spending time on the Tawi River, according to Sinha.He claimed that J&K is now moving towards peace and progress thanks to Modi ji's active assistance. I believe that this is perhaps the first time in Jammu and Kashmir's history that such actions have been taken. In the next four months, projects worth Rs 20,000 crore will be completed. The prime minister's projects, worth Rs 60,000 crore, will be finished by 2025, he continued.Sinha went on to say that the PM has given power to every segment of society.
