"Every Panchayat and Urban Local Body in J&K will be included in the Government of India's largest-ever outreach initiative, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra," he declared. Fire Damages ITBP Barrack In Zewan Headquarters

Srinagar, Dec 17: Authorities said on Sunday that a large fire that started in a barrack of the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) headquarters at Zewan on the outskirts of Srinagar caused significant property damage. According to fire and emergency services, a large number of tents, bulletproof jackets, helmets, and other items were severely damaged in a major fire incident that started in an ITBP barrack measuring 50 by 200. According to reports, the fire started on Saturday night, and at approximately 7:19 p.m., the fire fighters were dispatched from the neighbouring stations. The flames had to be put out for several hours before they could do significant damage to the barracks. According to the Fire and Emergency Services official, the ITBP used the items kept in the barrack during the yearly Amarnath Yatra. In a different fire incident that happened early this morning in Dara Harwan, on the outskirts of Srinagar, four cowsheds suffered damage. Kashmiri conman posing as PMO official, Army doctor arrested in Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: Police have detained a resident of Kashmir who was posing as a Prime Minister Office (PMO) official, an Army doctor with specialised training, and a close friend of senior NIA officials. On Saturday, officials said that it was in Odisha. They said that a Special Task Force (STF) team of J&K police in Odisha, working with local authorities, apprehended the accused conman Sayed Ishaan Bukhari, also known as Ishaan Bukhari or Dr. Ishaan Bukhari, who had ties to certain anti-national elements. Additionally, it was discovered that he communicated with some Pakistani nationals as well as dubious individuals in Kerala.Originating from the border district of Kupwara in north Kashmir, Bukhari was posing as an Army physician, a PMO officer, and a close associate of several senior officials in the National Investigation Agency (NIA). They said that after his arrest, he was found in possession of forged documents, including a medical degree certificate from Cornel University of the USA, the Canadian Health Services Institute, and Christian Medical College Vellore. Furthermore, they claimed that phoney identification cards, visiting cards, ATM cards, blank checks, and Aadhar cards were also taken from him. It was discovered that the accused con artist had wed at least six women nationwide.Gujarati national Kiran Patel was apprehended by the police in March of this year after pretending to be a high-ranking PMO bureaucrat during his third visit to Kashmir. He was taken into custody from a five-star Srinagar hotel. Similar to Bukhari, Patel asserted that he was extremely intelligent, holding degrees in computer science (M-Tech), computer engineering (BE), and PhD from Commonwealth University in Virginia, as well as an MBA from IIM Trichy. 4 cops injured in highway accident near Banihal

RAMBAN: This evening, four officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police were hurt in a collision on NH-44 close to Banihal, according to authorities. A car travelling from Doda to Srinagar, according to the police, swerved off the highway close to Chamalwas Banihal and rolled down a few metres from the road. Chamalwas is located five kilometres from Banihal. They claimed that after launching a rescue effort, local police and volunteers from Banihal transported all of the injured to the Sub District Hospital in Banihal. A hospital official stated that all of the injured police officers are in stable condition. Assadullah's son Sajad Ahmed of Qazigund, Nazir Ahmed's son Adil Nazir of Hazratbal Srinagar, Mehraj ud Din of Abdul Rashid's residence in Noor Bagh Srinagar, and Parvaiz Ahmed of Anantnag's father Abdul Rashid were identified as the injured.
