NIA attaches immovable property of UAPA case accused in Poonch

POONCH: According to officials, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday annexed a Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen member's movable property after an OGW was detained in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a UAPA case. The property that is attached comprises over seven acres (59 kanals and 12 marlas) owned by Mohammad Yaseen, an OGW who works in the Balakote sector. He is being held at the Central Jail in Kot Balwal, Jammu, after being charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. According to the officials, the property in Dhabi-Dharati village in Balakote tehsil was seized following a September 30 order from the NIA Court in Jammu. The order was carried out by a team of NIA led by Assistant Superintendent of Police P K Megi and Naib tehsildar Balakote. MUMBAI: The makers of superstar Salman Khan's action thriller "Tiger 3" announced on Friday that the film has made Rs 300 crore worldwide at the box office. Starring alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, the film is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF). In Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, it was released on November 12 in honour of the Diwali festival. The movie has made Rs 188.25 crore net in India, according to YRF. ""On weekdays, the movie has a very strong hold. "After paving the way for a week, it has now collected 188.25 crore net in India and crossed 300 crore gross worldwide in just 5 days," the film's makers stated in a press release. KARGIL: According to officials today, the Army has neutralised forty-five unexploded ordnances (UXOs) in the Kargil region of Ladakh Union Territory. "To ensure safety of movement for all, DhruvaSappers' Bomb Disposal Team successfully neutralised 45 Unexploded Ordnances (UXOs) in Kurbathang area, Kargil, working hand-in-hand with Civil Administration and @KargilPolice to secure areas around Pashkun," a spokesperson for the Fire and Furry Corps, which is in charge of the defence of the Ladakh region, wrote on X. He continued, "The Indian Army is committed to protecting our citizens, and we will work together to ensure everyone's safety." Explosive ammunition such as bombs, bullets, shells, grenades, mines, and so forth that did not detonate when used but still pose a risk of detonation are known as unexploded ordnance.
