POONCH: According to officials, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday annexed a Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen member's movable property after an OGW was detained in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a UAPA case. The property that is attached comprises over seven acres (59 kanals and 12 marlas) owned by Mohammad Yaseen, an OGW who works in the Balakote sector. He is being held at the Central Jail in Kot Balwal, Jammu, after being charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. According to the officials, the property in Dhabi-Dharati village in Balakote tehsil was seized following a September 30 order from the NIA Court in Jammu. The order was carried out by a team of NIA led by Assistant Superintendent of Police P K Megi and Naib tehsildar Balakote. MUMBAI: The makers of superstar Salman Khan's action thriller "Tiger 3" announced on Friday that the film has made Rs 300 crore worldwide at the box office. KARGIL: According to officials today, the Army has neutralised forty-five unexploded ordnances (UXOs) in the Kargil region of Ladakh Union Territory. "To ensure safety of movement for all, DhruvaSappers' Bomb Disposal Team successfully neutralised 45 Unexploded Ordnances (UXOs) in Kurbathang area, Kargil, working hand-in-hand with Civil Administration and @KargilPolice to secure areas around Pashkun," a spokesperson for the Fire and Furry Corps, which is in charge of the defence of the Ladakh region, wrote on X.
