Missing engineer found dead after 6 days in Baramulla

BARAMULLA: The body of a Roads and Buildings Department engineer who had been missing from his residence for six days was found on Tuesday morning after being recovered from a barrage in the Gantamulla neighbourhood of the Baramulla district in north Kashmir. According to an official, Gurmeet Singh's body was pulled from the Lower Jhelum Hydroelectric Power Project's bombardment this morning. He claimed that Gurmeet had been absent from his residence for around six days and that since that time, police and other agencies had carried out a thorough search for him.
