Lion couple from Gujrat to reach Jambu Zoo on 8 Nov

JAMMU: On Wednesday, November 8, two adult male and female Asiatic lions, ages 3.7 and 2.7, are scheduled to arrive at Jambu Zoo. According to the Department of Wildlife Protection, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is the one ordering the two lions to be brought to the UT. The IUCN lists the pair of Asiatic Lions that were imported from Gujarat as an endangered species. Currently, the only state with a wild population of Asiatic lions is Gujarat, which has given Jambu Zoo one pair of lions. According to CZA regulations, the two will live in a specially designed Lion habitat that is more than 5,500 square metres in size and has heating and ventilation for inclement weather. After a week of being kept in quarantine, they will be allowed to return to the enclosure for public display. The department would like to thank the Lieutenant Governor and the Government of Gujarat on this auspicious day for their help and support in locating lions, which would delight wildlife enthusiasts and the people of J&K. Sikh separatist Gurpatwant threatens to blow up Air India flight on 19 Nov

NEW DELHI: The founder of the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) organisation, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a designated terrorist, has made a new video in which he begs Sikhs not to board Air India flights after November 19 because they could endanger their lives. He asserted that on November 19, Air India will not be permitted to operate. "We are requesting that Sikhs avoid travelling on Air India. On November 19, there will be an international embargo. Air India will not be permitted to function. Sikhs, refrain from using Air India after November 19. In the video that is making the rounds on social media, Pannun stated, "Your life could be in danger." According to Pannun, the name of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi will change and it would remain closed on November 19. He emphasised that the present Cricket World Cup final match will take place on this same day. "It is the same day in November on which the final match of the World Terror Cup will be played," he stated. "The name of this airport will be Shahid Beant Singh, Shahid Satwant Singh Khalistan airport, when Punjab will be liberated," he stated. Chief of Staff for SFJ Pannun has threatened people before. Amidst a diplomatic spat between India and Canada after the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in September, he called for Hindu-Canadians to leave the country. In a video that went viral on social media, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said that Sikhs who supported Khalistan had continuously demonstrated their allegiance to Canada. He continued by threatening and pressuring Hindus living in Indo-Canada to leave the nation. Gurpatwant Singh Pannun's hate speech went viral, and Hindu Forum Canada's lawyers requested that the Canadian Immigration Minister forbid Pannun from entering the country.The lawyer for Hindu Forum Canada wrote to Mark Miller, Canada's Minister of Immigration, claiming that Pannun's recent remarks have traumatised and distressed both the Hindu community and the Canadian public at large. Hindu Forum Canada is an Ontario-based non-profit humanitarian organisation that promotes laws that improve the lives of minority populations in the country. Khalistani secessionists staged a 'Referendum' in Surrey, British Columbia, earlier in September. The founder of the outlawed Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, attended the Khalistani separatist assembly at the Guru Nanak Singh Gurudwara in Surrey, Vancouver. Using menacing language, Pannun made a provocative statement directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and other prominent figures. Mukesh Ambani receives fresh threatening emails for ignoring previous demand

MUMBAI: Mumbai police reported on Saturday that Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, had received new threat emails that threatened to punish him severely if he disregarded earlier communications requesting Rs 400 crore in extortion. Two threatening emails with the sender identifying himself as Shadab Khan were received between October 31 and November, according to the police. "Industrialist Mukesh Ambani received two threat emails once again between October 31 and November 1, warning him of serious consequences for ignoring previous emails wherein the person (sender of the mail) had demanded Rs 400 crore," according to cops.Ambani has previously received emails threatening to shoot him to death if he didn't pay the Rs 20 crore. Then, every time an email was received, the ransom kept going up to Rs 200 crore and Rs 400 crore. Mumbai police had previously stated that the first such threatening email had been issued on October 28. "The sender cites a lack of response to the prior email and increases the ransom," they added. Following receipt of the email, the Mumbai Gamdevi Police filed a case against an unidentified individual under sections 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) and 387 (putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt in order to commit extortion) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in response to the complaint of Mukesh Ambani's security in-charge. JAMMU: Ramesh Kumar, the Divisional Commissioner for Jammu, presided over a meeting on Friday to discuss the status of the Delhi-Amritsar Katra Motorway project's construction. Along with senior officers from the Forest, JPDCL, Defence Estates, and other relevant departments, the meeting was attended by NHAI Regional Officers, Director Airports, Chief Engineers, Jal Shakti, and Project Directors. Deputy Commissioners from Kathua, Samba, Reasi, and Jammu also participated via video conference. The meeting examined the status of the work on the famous motorway in great detail. It was stated that all of the completed packages are currently under construction. The Divisional Commissioner thoroughly examined the procedures for acquiring land and allocating compensation.In order to guarantee the smooth completion of the esteemed road projects, he gave the Deputy Commissioners instructions to act quickly to resolve land-related concerns and any obstacles. YouTuber Elvish Yadav denies charge after FIR filed against him for allegedly supplying snake venom at rave party

NOIDA : YouTuber Elvish Yadav has refuted reports that he supplied snake venom at a Noida rave. This comes after the YouTuber was accused of delivering the venom in a formal complaint against six individuals. In an Instagram video, Elvish Yadav asserted that all of the accusations made against him are untrue. "When I woke up, the media was reporting on my suspected arrest. These accusations made against me are entirely untrue and fraudulent. They are 1% true, at most. I'm ready to assist the UP Police. I kindly ask the UP Government and CM Yogi Adityanath to accept complete responsibility for me, even if I had a 0.1% participation in this.I ask that the media refrain from disseminating false information until that time, as I am unrelated to this. The Uttar Pradesh forest department and Noida police busted the group for allegedly providing snake venom at a rave party during a combined raid at Sector 51 Saffron Villa in Noida earlier. According to Uttar Pradesh police, "An FIR has been filed at Noida Sector 49 Police Station against six individuals, including Bigg Boss winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav, for selling snake venom at rave parties." When they supplied the poison at parties, they used to get paid a substantial amount of money. In a raid, nine snakes were also saved." Meanwhile, five people were taken into custody by the police from the banquet hall: Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan, and Ravinath. Tata Motors said in a statement that the company has delivered the first batch of Ultra EV air-conditioned electric buses to Srinagar Smart City Ltd through TML Smart City Mobility Solutions (J&K) Pvt Ltd, a group entity. The statement went on, "The delivery of the electric buses is a part of its bigger order to supply, maintain, and operate 100 electric buses for the Srinagar and Jammu Smart City projects over a period of 12 years."This marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to safer, smarter, and greener mobility solutions, and we look forward to playing a key role in shaping the future of public transport in Jammu & Kashmir," stated Asim Kumar Mukhopadhyay, chairman of TML Smart City Mobility Solutions (J&K) Pvt Ltd, in response to the delivery of the first batch. LG launches Srinagar Smart City’s 100 Electric Buses under Srinagar Electric Bus Project

SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha fired off a fleet of 75 E-Buses at Nishat Bus Terminal, launching the 100 Electric Buses under the Srinagar Electric Bus Project for the Srinagar Smart City. From 8 AM to 8 PM, e-buses will operate on 15 intra-city routes and 2 inter-city routes, covering a minimum of 200 kilometres daily. The Lieutenant Governor congratulated the citizens of Srinagar and the surrounding regions as well as the Srinagar Smart City Limited on this momentous occasion in his speech. Our main goal is smart mobility, which maximises transport services in a way that balances ecological and harmony. According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's objective, adding 100 e-buses is a significant step towards achieving carbon neutrality, the Lieutenant Governor stated.According to him, the Srinagar Smart City Limited is bringing the idea of "modal shift" to life by using an integrated approach to give people easy access to mobility while also promoting social sustainability. Dr. Jitendra Singh praised Australia for providing the Earth Station tracking facility for Gaganyaan, India's first human space mission, which is set to launch in 2025. He also mentioned the possibility of further collaboration in areas such as biotechnology and space research. He proposed industry partnerships for start-ups in the fields of agritech, aromatherapy, and lavender farming.When a high-level Australian team led by its High Commissioner to India, Philip Green, paid him a visit today, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, made this statement.According to Dr. Jitendra Singh, India has become a leader in tackling climate change challenges, as expressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G20 summit in New Delhi. The Global Biofuels Alliance was founded by India on the fringes of the G20 Summit, and he declared that India is prepared to impart its knowledge of clean energy and semiconductors to Australia. According to Dr. Jitendra Singh, India currently boasts over 150 space startups, some of which are now valued at billions of rupees. Just four startups existed in the space sector a few years ago. He suggested that IN-SPACe collaborate with the Australia Space Agency (ASA) and help Space Startups with cooperative projects.In June 2021, ASA will provide complete assistance, including a site survey at Cocos Island on behalf of ISRO. To formalise their cooperation, ASA and ISRO signed the Implementing Arrangement in January 2022. In August 2023, ISRO representatives travelled to Cocos Island and conducted a frequency survey at the suggested location.
