Don’t Vent Frustration Of Assembly Polls Defeat Inside Parliament: PM Modi To Opposition

New Delhi, Dec 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the opposition to move past its "negativity" of the previous nine years and move forward, instead of expressing their frustration over the setback in the assembly polls within the House, ahead of Parliament's Winter Session on Monday. Speaking to the press outside the Parliament building, Modi declared that the nation had rejected negativity and that the opposition had a great opportunity during the Winter Session. "If I may base my remarks on the outcome of the assembly poll, opposition has a great chance to win.They should learn from this setback and break out from the negativity that has characterised the past nine years. If they go positively this session, the nation's perception of them will shift, he said, rather than organising ways to express their dissatisfaction over the loss. They might be able to enter a new area. Even though they disagree, I am still offering them counsel," he declared. "The future is bright for everyone, so don't give up hope. However, please don't take your displeasure with the losses you've experienced inside Parliament. He stated that there will be disappointment and frustration. The BJP tightened its grip over the Hindi heartland on Sunday by sweeping Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh and handily defeating the Congress.In Telangana, the Congress defeated the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to give the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) a 3-1 lead in the most recent Assembly elections, which are expected to serve as a semi-final before the national election in the following year. There will be fifteen sittings in the Winter session of Parliament until December 22. Anyone picking up drone-dropped items is India’s biggest enemy, will be booked: DGP

SAMBA: Jammu and Kashmir's Director General of Police, RR Swain, described drone-dropped objects from across the border, such as weapons, drugs, and money, as a "new challenge" and warned anyone who tries to retrieve them of being the nation's greatest adversary and facing treason and terrorism charges. Speaking with media in Samba, he declared that anyone found in possession of drone-dropped weaponry would be "degraded and disincentivised" in line with the law if they are captured. "We consider anyone coming to pick up the weapons, ammunition, explosives, narcotics or money (dropped by drones) as the biggest enemy of the country and those caught accused will be booked for treason and terrorism of the highest level," he stated.The DGP referred to a meeting held in the Ministry of Home Affairs and stated that, given the technology of the device, conventional methods such as air defence systems fail to detect the movement of drones. As a result, the highest level of authority has been informed that many people can act as eyes and ears. The unmanned aerial vehicle sneaks in like a rat. When we learn about drone movements, we want a mechanism in place at the police station and police post level with the goal of responding as soon as feasible." In addition to obtaining information to pinpoint the precise moment the drone takes off, he stated that this technology should track and intercept these drones. He claimed that despite the strict security at the border, there were attempts to undermine the calm in the UT from across it. The J&K Police chief described them as a "emerging trend" and mentioned that in the recent past, tunnels were created in numerous locations to transport weapons and militants. He noted, "Drones are a new challenge now, and to counter these challenges, planning and strategy are needed." He said there was a difficulty being faced and that people's cooperation, area dominance, intellect, and investigation should be combined to make "their work so difficult that they will understand it is of no use." He pointed out that generalisations don't tell the whole story. When questioned about the recent upsurge in terrorist activity in the Poonch and Rajouri border regions, Swain stated, "Operational strategy does not allow revealing the number of active militants." "We don't discuss the figures because they don't provide context for the issue. A significant incident can be carried out by even two people ", he continued. According to him, people are crucial in overcoming these kinds of obstacles. In order to combat militancy, he continued, active collaboration with security services was being conducted. Numerous information are being received by security forces from residents in the Rajouri-Poonch districts. Individuals have become enmeshed with extremists themselves." A focus on identifying crimes against women was emphasised, along with the fact that monitoring these groups will keep an eye on their operations, which serves as a strong disincentive. He counselled authorities to make sure that professional investigations are conducted in UAPA cases in order to guarantee the accused's conviction and to successfully address the terrorist ecosystem. andwara," said a spokesman. Assembly election results 2023: BJP’s 3-states stunner, Congress goes home with Telangana

NEW DELHI: The Congress, which took solace in a significant victory in Telangana, was taken aback by the Bharatiya Janata Party's dominating electoral display in the three heartland states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. K Chandrashekhar Rao is lagging from one of the seats he is running for. The Congress deprived his ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi a hat-trick. The results of the elections in Mizoram, which was also held this cycle, will be known tomorrow. In order to honour the Christian-majority state of Mizoram's observance of Sunday, the Election Commission moved forward the counting process by one day. State of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, who seemed to have been marginalised in the run-up to the assembly election, turned out to be the show stopper as the BJP easily defeated the opposition to record a massive victory.In the 230-member assembly, the party presently holds 165 seats, considerably ahead of the majority threshold of 116. With 63 seats in lead, the Congress is far behind. The BJP put up a great performance in the early leads, and Shivraj Chouhan, who is leading in his stronghold of Budhni by an astounding 51,000 votes, thanked BJP workers beforehand. The four-time chief minister attributed the success of the party to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people of Madhya Pradesh have a special place in their hearts for our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ji. Additionally, the state is vital to Modi ji. There is a great deal of faith in him. Chouhan, 64, said, "He held public meetings here and made appeals to people that touched people's hearts." The state of Chhattisgarh The BJP hopes to overthrow the Congress party in Chhattisgarh with a resounding win. Rajasthan In Rajasthan, anti-incumbency worked in favour of the BJP, albeit at the price of the Congress, as the latter is poised to seize the state from its competitor in keeping with the'revolving power door' pattern. The rivalry between party colleague Sachin Pilot and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot appears to have compounded the challenges facing the Congress.
