KUPWARA: Offer top-notch police services, collaborate closely with the public, uphold a strict system of accountability and openness, and aid in getting justice for those who come to you for help. During Bara Khana at District Police Lines Kupwara on Sunday, J&K Police Director General R R Swain gave advice to J&K police officials and Jawans. AIG T&P Manoj Kumar Pandith, CO IRP 4th Bn. Showkat Ahmad Dar, SSP Handwara Dawood Ayoub, SSP Kupwara Yougal Manhas, SSP Traffic Kashmir R P Singh, and DIGP North Kashmir Range were among those present at the Bara Khana.Participating in the programme were all gazetted and non-gazetted Kupwara district officers and jawans. The DGP stated in his speech that the Jammu and Kashmir Police is tasked with carrying out a great deal of responsibility. The force is responsible for protecting public safety, upholding law and order, and guaranteeing that the general public receives excellent policing services because it is the major law enforcement organisation in the area. When individuals are going through a difficult period, he said, they go to police stations in the hopes that their problems will be resolved. He went on to say that this is an opportunity for police officers to ensure justice. According to the DGP, police have a huge responsibility to assist people in obtaining justice as an enforcement agency. They are also entrusted with significant responsibility, and they must act within the bounds of the law and uphold the ideals of justice and fairness. He gave the Jawans and officers instructions to collaborate closely with the public and uphold a robust accountability and transparency framework.He made a strong impression on them about their responsibility to protect and advance society's general well-being. According to him, the J&K Police are an essential part of the government and must put up constant effort to safeguard the public from crime, violence, and other nefarious acts. We must make sure that everyone is treated fairly and equally under the law, given the wide variety of jobs and responsibilities.According to him, one of the most important aspects of the police's job is to provide public services like traffic control and emergency response. The police are frequently the public's initial point of contact, and they are trusted to help people in need quickly and effectively. We must show that we are dedicated to serving the public and advancing the community's well-being by providing these services. The DGP also ordered the identification of the officers who, in his words, would be recognised and rewarded for their greatest efforts in ensuring the public received improved services and justice. In addition, the DGP J&K heard the complaints and requests made by police officers and oversaw their resolution. The IGP Kashmir Zone V. K. Birdi thanked all of the officers and jawans for attending the bara khana and mentioned that the DGP J&K had given the order to conduct this meal in his welcoming speech.
