Congress Remembers Villages, Poor People And Farmers Only During Polls: PM Modi

Jhabua, Feb 11: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the opposition Congress only remembers villages, the underprivileged, and farmers during elections, whereas his government is dedicated to the welfare of tribal people. "Only during elections does the Congress remember villages, the impoverished, and farmers," he declared.The PM stated that the Congress's motto is "loot and divide" and that the party was aware of their impending defeat and was using desperate measures. According to him, even the opposition leaders in Parliament are now criticising the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) by stating, "Abki baar 400 paar." ‘Bhakti-shakti’ confluence led to grand Ram temple construction in Ayodhya: Yogi

PUNE: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath claimed on Sunday that the "saga of 500 years of slavery" was broken by the convergence of "bhakti and shakti," which resulted in the building of the magnificent Ram temple in Ayodhya. Adityanath praised Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for defying Mughal emperor Aurangzeb while speaking at the Geeta Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav in Alandi, Maharashtra's Pune region. On January 22, this year, a lavish ceremony was organised at the Ayodhya shrine to dedicate the idol of Ram Lalla. According to Adityanath, devotion and strength are coming together today as "shakti and bhakti" come together. By ending the tale of 500 years of enslavement, the union of bhakti and shakti resulted in the building of the magnificent Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. We had the chance to see that extraordinary occasion," he remarked. Maharashtra's population is lucky, according to the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, since they have been blessed by saints for hundreds of years. "This shakti is defeating the adversaries because it sprang from bhakti. From this area, Samarth Ramdas had spawned Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who defied the authority of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and was abandoned to suffer and die, with no one caring about him even now "said the speaker. The chief minister of UP claimed that Maharashtra is known as the region of valour because of its closeness to venerable saints. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a manifestation of strength and devotion, he stated. Adityanath claimed to have travelled to Agra following his election as Uttar Pradesh's chief minister. There was a 'Mughal museum' under construction. Since we are related to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and not the Mughals, I suggested that the museum be named in his honour," he remarked. According to Adityanath, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is also honoured by the defensive corridor that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced will be built in Uttar Pradesh. "I am sure that the country's armed forces are achieving the aim of getting atmanirbhar (self-reliant)," he stated. DM Jammu cancels 3 illegal land mutations, orders inquiry

JAMMU: Three land mutations that were fraudulently attested have been revoked by District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya, in violation of Government Order No. 254-C of 1965. The DM issued the order after taking notice of the situation and asking the Tehsildar for an update. The land mutations were related to Khasra Nos. 118, 210, and 210-Min in the village of Dhami, Tehsil Nagrota, where three individuals were granted ownership rights under Government Order No. 254-C of 1965. This order was intended to aid in the rehabilitation of families who had been displaced in 1947, 1965, and 1971. Looking through the revenue records, I discovered that the land in question did not fall within the aforementioned order's provisions because it was classified as State Land with 'Gair Mumkin Passi' soil type, meaning it was not used for agriculture. Furthermore, the territory covered by Khasra No. 210-Min belonged to the Forest Department. The DM duly called the parties who were granted ownership rights to a hearing, but they did not show up. Upon conducting a thorough analysis of the revenue records and reviewing the Tehsildar's report, the DM determined that the contested mutations were fraudulent and unlawful, and as such, were revoked. Within two days, Tehsildar Nagrota was instructed to make the necessary record corrections and turn in a report detailing the actions taken. In order to take the appropriate additional steps, he must also divulge the identities of the delinquent officials who illegally entered the contested mutations. BJP Got Nearly ₹1300 Crore Through Electoral Bonds In 2022-23, Over 7 Times What Congress Received

NEW DELHI, Feb 10: In 2022–2023 the ruling BJP received about ₹1,300 crore through electoral bonds, seven times more than the Congress received through the same mechanism during the same year. In the fiscal year 2022–2023 the BJP received ₹2120 crore in total donations, of which 61% came from electoral bonds, according per the party's annual audited report that was filed with the Election Commission. The party made ₹1775 crore in contributions overall in FY 2021–2022. The party's overall revenue increased from ₹1917 crore in FY 2021–22 to ₹2360.8 crore in FY 2022–23. Conversely, the Congress's earnings from electoral bonds decreased to ₹171 crore from ₹236 crore in the fiscal year 2021–2022. Both the Congress and the BJP are acknowledged national parties. In 2021–2022, the Samajwadi Party—a recognised state party—was able to obtain ₹3.2 crore from electoral bonds. It did not get any funding from these bonds in 2022–2023. The TDP, a different state-recognized party, made ₹34 crore in 2022–2023 from electoral bonds, a ten-fold increase over the previous fiscal year. In the most recent fiscal year, the BJP received ₹237 crore from interest, an increase from ₹135 crore in 2021–2022.The BJP paid ₹78.2 crore for the use of aircraft and helicopters out of its overall expenditure on "election and general propaganda," which is less than the ₹117.4 crore it paid in 2021–2022. Additionally, the party gave candidates ₹76.5 crore in funding, down from ₹146.4 crore in 2021–2022. This support has been provided by the party under the heading "total payments." Parliament passes bills for OBC quota in local bodies in J&K, expand list of Scheduled Tribes

NEW DELHI: On Friday, the Rajya Sabha approved three bills concerning Jammu and Kashmir. One of the bills, which aims to align local body regulations in the Union territory with the Constitution, grants reservation to other backward classes. The Constitution (Jammu and Kashmir) Scheduled Castes Order (Amendment) Bill, 2024, the Jammu and Kashmir Local Bodies Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2024, and the Scheduled Tribes Order (Amendment) Bill, 2024 were approved by the Rajya Sabha. The Lok Sabha has approved the three legislation. Nityanand Rai, the minister of state for home, responded to the discussion surrounding the Jammu and Kashmir Local Bodies Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2024.Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda responded to the bill pertaining to the Scheduled Tribes Order, and Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Virendra Kumar addressed the debate on the Scheduled Castes Order bill. According to Munda, the three legislation introduced following the repeal of Article 370 were intended to provide the people of Jammu and Kashmir with justice. He said that "political reservation for the first time" would be granted to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The goal of the Jammu and Kashmir Local Bodies rules (Amendment) Bill, 2024 is to align the Union territory's local body rules with the requirements of the Constitution and grant reservation to Other Backward Classes in panchayats and municipalities within the state.The Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Act of 2000, the Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Corporation Act of 2000, and the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act of 1989 are all intended to be amended. According to officials, the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act's provisions regarding the state election commissioner "are at variance" with the Constitution. As a synonym for Chura, Bhangi, Balmiki, and Mehtar, they asserted that the Jammu and Kashmir administration has suggested adding the Valmiki community to the list of Scheduled Castes of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir at serial number 5. The "Valmiki" addition to the Schedule of the Constitution (Jammu and Kashmir) Scheduled Castes Order, 1956 is proposed by the Constitution (Jammu and Kashmir) Scheduled Castes Order (Amendment) Bill, 2023. The officials stated that the "Pahari Ethnic Group," "Koli," "Paddari Tribe," and "Gadda Brahmin" populations have all petitioned to be added to the list of Scheduled Tribes by the Jammu and Kashmir administration. The Constitution (Jammu and Kashmir) Scheduled Tribes Order (Amendment) Bill, 2023 suggests making changes to the 1989 Scheduled Tribes Order in the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir.
