JAMMU, Sept 3: Security personnel discovered and detonated an item like an improvised explosive device (IED) on a national highway in the Rajouri district of Jammu on Sunday, one day after Chief of Army Staff (CAOS), General Manoj Pande, finished his two-day tour to the Pir Panchal region. According to officials, the road was shut down after IED-like material was discovered alongside NHW in Rajouri's Sangpur village. Soldier Electrocuted To Death In Samba

JAMMU, Sept 3:  In a camp in the Jammu and Kashmir district of Samba, an Army soldier was electrocuted to death after coming into contact with a live wire, according to officials on Sunday. According to the officials, engineering squadron member Deepak Pandey (25), who was working on a project late Sunday night, was electrocuted. They claimed that the Uttrakhand-born soldier passed away at the military hospital after being transported there.
