BSF Lodges Strong Protest With Pakistani Counterpart Over Unprovoked Firing Along IB In Jammu

JAMMU: According to sources, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Pakistan Rangers made strong complaint on Saturday over the recent unjustified firing and mortar shelling on forward posts and villages along this international border.BSF jawan and woman were injured during the about seven-hour cross-border shelling by Pakistan Rangers on Thursday night in the Arnia area of the Pura sector. This was the first significant ceasefire breach since 2021. BSF officer stated that the protest was recorded during meeting at the Border Outpost Octroi in Suchetgarh, which was attended by commanders.
