BSF Constable Charred To Death As Fire Engulfs Barrack In Bandipora

Bandipora, Jan 12: A Border Security Force (BSF) constable was charred to death after a fire broke out in a barrack of the 62nd Battalion BSF at the Madar area of Bandipora district late last night, officials said.
Official said that the deceased has been identified as Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Jalandhar, Punjab.
They said the fire engulfed the barrack during the night, and Ramesh Kumar could not be rescued due to the intensity of the blaze, resulting in his tragic death. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
An investigation has been initiated to determine the circumstances leading to the incident.
