AHMEDABAD, Feb 12: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is expected to win more than 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, according to Union Minister Amit Shah, who stated on Monday that there is no doubt in the minds of the public about the outcome. The ruling BJP is predicted to win 370 seats. In a jab at the Congress, Shah stated that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ten years in office, the first five years were spent plugging the “pit” the opposition party had dug during its time in power and the next five years were spent setting the groundwork for future growth. The senior BJP leader declared, “Make him (Modi) the prime minister for the third term and a magnificent building will come up on the foundation at a very fast pace,” following the announcement of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s (AMC) Rs 1,950 crore development projects. “I toured eleven states in January, and I was in Karnataka yesterday. There is no tension in any state over the (Lok Sabha election results). People all around the nation believe that the NDA will win over 400 seats and the BJP will win 370 seats, according to Shah. He claimed that over the past ten years, Prime Minister Modi has given numerous projects momentum and direction and achieved previously unthinkable goals.According to Shah, the “Gujarat model” was the driving force behind Modi’s election as the nation’s prime minister in 2014. The senior BJP leader stated that after ten years of PM Modi’s leadership, people are optimistic that India will top the international rankings in 2047. PM Modi outlined a plan to take the nation to new heights. He asserted that Prime Minister Modi is capable of creating a strategy and seeing it through to completion. According to him, this has caused the Indian economy to rise from its previous ranking of eleventh to the fifth largest in the world. “Without a doubt, we will emerge as the third-largest economy during the third term of the Modi administration,” stated Shah. The Union minister added that PM Modi was present when the idol of Lord Ram was dedicated at the Ayodhya temple on January 22 of this year. Everybody in the nation has been waiting for the Ram temple in Ayodhya for around 550 years. We saw this on January 22, and now we have a stunning Ram Lalla temple that astounds everyone,” he continued. During his speech, Shah also honoured Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj, on the occasion of his birth. In Tankara, in the Morbi region of Gujarat, the social reformer’s birthplace, a major celebration has been planned to commemorate the anniversary.
