RAIPUR: The Congress and a few other parties have been calling for the caste census to be conducted nationally, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated on Friday that while the BJP has never opposed the nation, it will make the proper choice after discussing everyone. Shah responded, “We are a national party and we don’t do politics of votes on this issue,” in response to a question concerning the 17 poll assurances made by the incumbent Congress, which included the state’s caste census.
