NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday released the BJP’s manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Titled ‘Modi’s Guarantee 2024’, the manifesto – also known as ‘Sankalp Patra’ – consists of 14 promises and focuses on women empowerment, upliftment of youth and the poor. The manifesto targets GYAN – which are schemes for the ‘Gareeb’ (poor), ‘Yuva’ (youth), ‘Annadaata’ (farmers), and ‘Nari’ (women). It also focuses on making India prosperous, strengthen its international relations, and foster the development of the country’s heritage, among others. Speaking after the unveiling of the manifesto, PM Modi said that the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ empowers “all the four strong pillars of developed India – youth, women, poor and farmers”. “The entire country waits for the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’. There is a big reason behind it as in the last 10 years, the BJP has implemented every point of its manifesto as a guarantee on the ground,” he added.
