JAMMU: The District Congress Committee Jammu (Urban) on Saturday held monthly meeting at the Congress office in Jammu to discuss important matters.Raman Bhalla, the working president of the JKPCC, presided over the meeting, which was also organised by Hari Singh Chib, president of District Jammu Rural, and Yogesh Sawhney, urban incharge of District Jammu. Speaking at the event, Bhalla and other prominent politicians strongly criticised the Central Government for the Coromandel train catastrophe, which has so far resulted in over 288 precious lives lost and hundreds of injuries. They also called for the resignation of the Railway Minister. The pictures are heartbreaking, and the prime minister is in large part to blame. The Vande Bharat trains and newly built railway stations are among the government of Narendra Modi’s claims, which it rapidly launched in an effort to gain electoral support by deceiving the public. They criticised the BJP-led Central Government for failing to maintain the railway infrastructure and trains.Bhalla harshly criticised the BJP and its state leadership, claiming that they had betrayed the Jammu people and had forfeited their moral right to represent them. In order to draw attention to the shortcomings and performance of the Modi Government on a number of fronts, including the economy, foreign policy, intergroup harmony, inflation, farmers’ income, national security, and welfare for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other backward classes, a former minister made fun of the BJP leadership for celebrating nine years, nine lies, and a failed government. He claimed that the country has become wretched during the BJP’s nine-year rule. The countrymen have only witnessed the destruction once in the past nine years. The BJP administration has devastated the nation. According to him, “deteriorating economic conditions and rising unemployment” are now the country’s top concerns. DCC leaders Yogesh Sawhney and Hari Singh Chib claimed that Jammu residents are now aware of the errors they made in 2014 and 2019 since those who were chosen by voters to speak up for them went ignored for a nine-year period. In the upcoming elections, it is anticipated that the people of Jammu would right the error made in the past, reject such opportunists and exploiters, and demonstrate where they belong. The NDA government at the centre appears to prioritise electioneering above governing and to have no time or dedication for the welfare of the people or the nation. There is resentment among the populace, they claimed, because the BJP has failed to keep its promises for nine years. The BJP has used the emotions of the voters who gave them power. The administration has failed, and the people are unhappy with their policies. Vijay Sharma, the head of Sewadal, Amrit Bali, the chairman of the Refugee Cell, Pawan Dev Singh, Pardeep Bhalla, Varinder Manhas, Satpal Spolia, Sandeep Dogra, Vijay Malhotra, Parveen Singh, and others were prominent attendees at the event.
