BJP won semi-final, set to win final in 2024: Raina

JAMMU: Ravinder Raina, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir, expressed his optimism while spearheading the party's win celebrations in Jammu, saying that the BJP's victory has validated the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. On Sunday, hundreds of workers and leaders gathered at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to celebrate the J&K BJP's landslide victory in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. They danced to the rhythms of the drums.The event was attended by a number of notable BJP figures, including J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, former Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, former Minister Sat Sharma, general secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta, general secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, former Minister Priya Sethi, former MLC S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, former MLC Vikram Randhawa, former MLA Ashwani Sharma, former MLA Neelam Langeh, former MLA Shiv Dev, Purnima Sharma, and others. Cheering the party's spectacular wins in three recently conducted elections, BJP workers burst crackers and danced to the rhythms of traditional drums. Along with shouting "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," "Modi ki Guarantee," and "Koi Nahi Hai Takkar Mein," they were also waving banners supporting the BJP and Modi. Speaking at the event, Ravinder Raina predicted that the BJP would win the 2024 finals by a landslide after winning the semi-finals with a fantastic display. "The pro people policies of BJP have been accepted" , he stated. He continued, "The victory is also befitting reply to Congress and INDI Alliance, as they are struggling for their survival" . Raina went on to say that the people of the entire country have come to terms with the policies of the BJP and have decided to have Modi ji again as prime minister. The people of Jammu & Kashmir support the Narendra Modi government because it is looking out for all societal segments. He went on, "The next Chief Minister of J&K will definitely come from the BJP." Raina credited the Modi government's public welfare initiatives for the peace, development, and cessation of Hartal Calls in Kashmir as well as for all of Jammu and Kashmir."BJP has done unprecedented public welfare works in all fields gaining the trust of people from every region and every religion, particularly the underprivileged and neglected classes" , Raina stated. According to Raina, the trend of success amply demonstrates the triumph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's developmental plan and vision. He said that the BJP was elected by those who wanted peace, security, and progress. Srinagar, Dec 3: Mehbooba Mufti, the president of the PDP, voiced optimism on Sunday that the opposition parties will fare better in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, given that the BJP looked to be headed for victory in three of the four states that just held elections. Speaking to reporters outside of a party conference in Kupwara, almost 100 kilometres away, Mufti stated that in the Assembly elections, the opposition parties would be up against the strength of the government, which included its investigative agencies, financial clout, and the Election Commission. "I hope that the opposition does better in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls than it did in these elections," stated Mufti, the former chief minister of the state that was then known as Jammu and Kashmir."The power of the government, its agencies, money, and the Election Commission is on the one side when elections are held today," she remarked. The Election Commission released trends showing that the BJP was in the lead in 155 of the 230 Madhya Pradesh seats, 54 of the 90 Chhattisgarh seats, and 111 of the 199 Rajasthan seats. Mufti stated she had travelled to Kupwara to address the issues of the populace and declined to comment on the postponement of the elections in Jammu & Kashmir. "I had come here to hear about the people's issues and sorrows. Mughal Road reopens for one-way traffic after 3 days

Chinese National Arrested For Attempt To Cross Indo-Nepal Border Illegally

BAHRAICH (UP), Dec 3: Officials reported that a Chinese national woman was apprehended at Rupaideha after she was discovered to have crossed the illegal boundary between India and Nepal. The woman was detained on Saturday by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) staff members while reportedly attempting to enter Nepal illegally by posing as a Buddhist monk, they continued. A senior SSB official stated that the woman's Chinese passport bore a valid Nepalese visa that verified her entry at Tribhuvan Airport in Nepal between November 19, 2023, and February 16, 2024.To find out why she entered and left India, investigations are in progress. According to the official, details of her trip through India are also being looked at. According to the official, the SSB has filed a case at the Rupaideha police station under Section 4(A) of the Foreigners Act against the Chinese woman, and the accused is currently being questioned. As the woman tried to enter Nepal under the cover of a Buddhist monk, SSB Commandant GS Adawat told on Sunday that she raised suspicions. The accused has been identified as Li Xinmei (45), a native of Shandong, China, based on her passport, Adawat said.The commandant added that the woman could not understand Hindi or English when being questioned at first, so an interpreter from India's intelligence services was required to help with the interrogation process.
